Purpose Driven Restoration installed a French doors for my balcony. The door flew open the night they were installed. They stated the it was a problem with the installation. The supplier inspected the door and stated that the door wasn't certified or met specifications for a installation on the 14th floor. Purpose Driven Restoration wanted me to make the final payment. I refused. They hoped to find a window supplier appropriate to the location. I stated I would pay for any additional cost to get new door and made no demands as to type or brand. I had to seal the door with duct tape this winter to reduce the draft. During the last conversation, Purpose Driven Restoration wanted to re-install the door that is not certified for the height. I declined the offer and have not heard from them since that conversation.Business response
