We recently had our 2010 Winnebago View ** placed on consignment at Pleasureland **, ***********. After receiving no response from Pleasureland after several months of them attempting to sell our camper at a good published profit we decided to pick it up from there place of business. We were informed at the time there was a problem with a lens in mirror and they would look for a replacement part, also not to shut the motor off since it would not restart? Upon inspection at home, we found several other new problems since we put the ** in their care. The following is a list of the situations that existed upon our return of the vehicle.1) the engine would not start on its own because the fairly new battery had been neglected and was no longer even rechargeable. The cost was $492.2) upon observation it was found that the windshield had been broken and needed to be replaced. The cost was $330.3} the lens in mirror on the drivers side was missing 1 lens and needed to be replaced.4) the lower storage compartment handle has literally been ripped off the door could not be opened.5} The engine compartment hood was hard to open because there had been some problem with the support which had was bent and would barely function.Realizing that there is always the possibility of some problems could be expected when storing an ** unit. The number of situations we encountered seems to be unacceptable, and caused by abuse, by a company that's business is **'s and their care and handling. Not only was there the expense of repairing the broken parts, but 2 days were spent by my wife and I finding repair people and shuttling the ** around to repair places, some of which decided they would not be able to repair problem and had to be replaced by other repair shops. So, my conclusion is that that Pleasureland ** is not a reliable, honorable or dependable place to put your trust in, with any hope of a good business transaction.PleasureLand RV Center Inc Response

We're sorry we weren't able to sell your RV while we had it on consignment. There was too many pre existing issues to market it appropriately. Our dealership does not offer complimentary service or maintenance services as part of consignment agreements. When a 15 year old motorhome sits outside for 10 months it's not uncommon for batteries to go bad over winter, adhesives that hold mirrors can let go and a windshield with multiple chips can crack. We wish you nothing but the best in the future sale of your motorhome.Review from WILLIAM M

PleasureLand RV, Shakopee, ** (not listed on BBB site)Very disappointed in warranty service. Purchased Coachman Freedom Express in ********* and required warranty service due to delaminating cabinet vinyl. Delivered unit to ******** location end of Nov. 2023 for repairs. End of Feb, 2024 finally was able to pickup. Only half of the kitchen cabinet doors were corrected (2 of 4). Sawdust left in cabinets so no cleanup was done, hole in one cabinet stile where hinge is mislocated. They stated they would get the remaining doors on order and replace. Several calls and emails sent for status of when repairs might be completed over 4 months since and no response to those. Contacted manufacturer service representative who has been very responsive to these issues. Scheduled service with another service center.Would not recommend PleasureLand RV, Shakopee, **PleasureLand RV Center Inc Response

We've been in the market for a Glacier ice house for our family and have been looking for a while. We went through PleasureLand RV in ***********, ** this past summer for a camper rental and they were nothing but helpful so naturally our first step was going through them to purchase. On 12/11/23 we saw a 2023 22ft ***************** RV edition for 28k on the website. My husband promptly called the *********** Store and spoke with *** the sales manager, confirmed the price of 28k and we went down to look at it. In the hour it took us to travel and look at the ice house, the price increased by 20k. *** said he would need to check with his higher **** but would calls us back the next day, 12/12, despite needing to drive to ********* to confirm we could go through with the price. Tuesday came and we heard nothing so we called the *********** store and they said they couldn't help us and that *** was out for the rest of the week. We tried again Wednesday morning, and we got the same story. I then called the ********* store and was told I was naive for thinking they could sell us a new ice house for 28k despite their "mistake" and our proof of the listing at 28k. We were offered a manufacturer rebate for our troubles, which I called an insult due to the fact the manufacturer had nothing to do with this. **** the head of sales then called and asked what I wanted from them, trying to guilt me for being upset because everything is entered by hand on their website. I said better communication and to not ghost customers when you realize a "mistake". In the end we weren't asking for a 20k cut on the house, we wanted a direct answer without getting the run around for 48 hours due to a bait and switch from this so called small business. The lack of communication and owning up to their mistakes upfront is anything but professional, instead they'd prefer lure then avoid customers and call them naive. We will not be returning to any location, or recommending them to anyone, ever.PleasureLand RV Center Inc Response

***** - youre correct, the price was listed on our website incorrectly and was promptly fixed when we were alerted to it. Two sales managers and the director of sales all apologized for the mistake. To insinuate that this was done in a malicious manner is completely false. Were sorry to get your hopes up after seeing the incorrect price. We wish you nothing but the best in your search for the right ice house.Review from Dan S

I've only had this trailer 6 months and towed it about **** miles. *** outside treads are worn down to 1/32-2/32" tread. Tires are no longer safe so i will have to change them. *** inner and middle treads have little wear. This indicates the camber or the toe is off. Most likely the camber. I contacted Keystone and they required me to take it dealer to diagnose it. *** dealers service advisor at Pleasurland RV in Ramsey ** acknowledged the tire wear and led me to believe something is off and needs to be done, but lets just submit it to Keystone. Never mentioned they would charge me, i was under the impression this was a legit warranty claim by the service advisor. ***y took my trailer into service and it took them a full business week to look at it even though i had a scheduled apt time that i had to wait close to two months to get. Keystone provided them with a sheet that only measured the mounting points of the axle. No targeted efforts were taken by Keystone or Keystones required dealer to take measurements of the tire wear, nor were complete measurements taken for actual alignment of the axle, which would be used diagnose tire wear issues. I suspect they deliberately did this and ****** picked measurements so they could say nothing is wrong. ***y took just pictures as required by Keystone which are difficult to show the extent of the wear and keystones required measurements to show the axles where installed in the right location. Just like a car the wheels and axles can be mounted and installed properly, but the alignment can be way off. Dealer later indicated to me after looking at the trailer they do not measure camber nor have a tool to measure it. If i had known that beforehand i would never have left it with the dealer. Both the dealer and keystone are stonewalling me by not diagnosing the problem. *** dealer even charged me for not diagnosing the problem.Review from Daniel W

I fell in love with an ** from Pleasureland at an ** show in the *********** in March -- and ended up putting a deposit down on the rig. A mechanical issue was identified with the unit, requiring a part, that was not in stock. That changed the delivery date that we had discussed, from early April into May, which would not have allowed me to use it for a trip I had planned in late April. I decided to do some online research to see if there was an option that could meet my timeline -- and there was. After I informed the dealership that I was withdrawing from the purchase, they were then able to find the necessary part to move up the timeline. But by that point, I was set on a different option. Although I was definitely informed that the deposit was non-refundable, the fact that the dealership was unable to deliver the unit in a timely way should have changed that equation. As someone who works in a customer-facing industry, that is unquestionably what should have been done from a customer service perspective. So I simply write this as a warning to people about putting down a deposit. When they say "nonrefundable," that even means when they cannot deliver the unit in a timely manner.Generally, I enjoyed my interactions with everyone at Pleasureland. They are very nice people who understand the ** business well. If they would have refunded my deposit, it is likely where I would have done all of my maintenance and repairs, which I guarantee you would have been well more than the amount of my deposit.PleasureLand RV Center Inc Response

We're sorry we couldn't earn a better review. Just to clarify, we were originally quoted ******************************************************** reality, the part was shipped to ** and installed in one week. This was within your original timeline. Upon completion we reached out and were told that you found a different RV in a color you liked better. We wish you nothing but the best in your camping adventures and servicing your new RV.Review from Mark J

This place accused me of removing a blower motor in a furnace that I brought make because it didn't work. This is not about money This about exposure, they treating there customers unfairly. They will go out of business because they are the criminals.PleasureLand RV Center Inc Response

****,You came in looking for a motor for your furnace and we didn't have one in stock. You bought a new furnace with the new motor in it instead. Before you purchased, you and a parts attendant checked the new in the box furnace and the motor to make sure it was the right one. Once confirmed, you bought that particular furnace. The next day you returned the furnace and requested your money back stating that it didn't work, we obliged and cut you a check. We wanted to confirm what the new furnace needed to operate and discovered that the brand new furnace no longer had a motor. We stopped payment on the return check. You came back in and got the furnace.Review from Michon B

We purchased a used 2017 ************ Reflection 297RSTS from the Pleasureland location in ******, ** in September 2021. We were very upfront about our plans to tow this trailer all over the western ************* and live in it full time. We were very concerned about the tires since it was used and asked the salesperson, the manager, and the technical guy whether they felt they were in good condition and could handle that kind of mileage. Everyone assured us this trailer, including the tires, had been thoroughly inspected and cleaned, and was in perfect working condition. They even offered their advice/help at any time. Along our journey we blew a tire outside of *****, ** in October. We had only been on our journey for a couple weeks at this time and the tire literally exploded taking out part of the molding and a propane line. It also blew a small hole in the floor underneath. I called them immediately to explain and they acted like this was not their problem. The friendly call with any questions attitude we received during the sales process had been replaced with a complete disregard of us altogether. We ended up sort of patching the damage along the way, only to have the exact same thing happen again in January. Only this time the damage was even worse. We came to learn through research that these tires are considered to be ***** bombs. I am certain this dealership is well aware of that term and still gave us no word of warning about the wisdom of replacing the tires prior to our journey. Our other issue with them is that all of the tank sensors (2 grey tanks and 1 black tank) did not seem to be working properly at the time of purchase. In fact, the entire time we have owned this trailer, we have never relied on the sensors, which has made the maintenance of the tanks rather tricky. No matter what we try, this issue cannot be resolved. This dealership is not very concerned about the quality of the products or the satisfaction of their customers.PleasureLand RV Center Inc Response

We're sorry you had a couple flat tires on your trip around the country. When you accepted delivery of the pre-owned trailer, it was explained that the tires were inspected visually, held air, were adjusted to the correct PSI and had ample tread. Your assertion that we misled you about the tires is false, there's dozens of reasons why a tire could fail. We're also sorry the call to our service department didn't meet your expectations, but how could we do better when you were over **** miles from our dealership? For your holding tank sensors, we recommend trying sensor cleaner which can be purchased on Amazon or most RV dealerships.Review from Mary H

My 2019 Keystone has water damage originating from the washer on the pull out. They came out and in 2018 and told me it was fine it wasnt I had a warranty during the time they came out and told me it was fine. They mislead warranty work said it was done, and it wasnt. They didnt even look at the buckling/ windy washer as it was pulled out and retracted. Nor did they address the open spaces on the attachment. I believe this odd movement compromised the attachment of the wiper and the attachment to the house therefore allowing the water damage. The just fine attachment wasnt so fine. If you have work done at your place. with a traveling tech, youd better video record the work and conversation. It turned into my word against theres. My word meant nothing to them. Dont expect helpful service once you buy there. And forget the useless $1989. service agreement for ***** max ****** on work.
