      I have been a member for more than a decade now and had several loans with them without any missed payments and all are fully paid currently. I called them to request that I cannot pay my loan just for this month (August) because I do not have a paycheck, but starting in September, I will start paying again. They have been claiming they are for the people but to my surprise, they do not have any option to waive any late fee. Well, you can not expect them to be of help when you need them the most.

      I sent a car loan payment to this credit union via my bill pay account at my bank. The money was returned because this credit union claimed I didn't have an account there! I have had this account for over a year. When I tried to reach a live person at Affinity Plus, all I got was a run around with their automated phone system. I spent at least one hour trying to speak with an agent. I never got one. All I got was a Chat window with Terri, who told me to check with my bank - which I already had done. She was NO helpl at all. Good luck trying to reach a real person at this credit union via live conversation. It never happened to me.

      I've had an open personal loan for almost two years with no issues, in fact I've always paid more than the minimum payment every month. Not realizing my automatic payments weren't set up, I missed a payment and it went over 30 days past due. I was not notified until my payment was 35 days late and a missed payment was reported to my credit reports. My score dropped 80+ points! I reached out to Affinity Plus management only to find out they're absolutely unwilling to help. I would recommend finding a credit union who actually value real people instead of the image they portray.

      What isn't clear, is you cannot have more than 25 transactions in a day. Yesterday, I reached this and received many declined transactions. When I called, I couldn't get a hold of a person. When I finally did get a hold of a person, they said they'd reset the card and I should be good. It was not. I was at a store and tried to purchase food/household items. It declined again. There was no one available anymore when I called back to find out why this was still happening. I had to call the next day (today) to find out they blocked my card and I cannot make more than 25 purchases. They were not concerned about my issues. They were not concerned if I would close my account. My complaints and concerns about their services were not well received. The person on the phone apologized but had nothing further to say. They just do not care about customer service.
