Our problems began with the battery light staying on in March. We replaced the battery and cleaned the terminal connectors. The battery light remained on, so we brought our 2008 Pontiac Vibe to Valley Buick GMC (Apple Valley).Valley GMC determined it was the alternator. They replaced it at a cost of $741.11. We picked the car up and drove it home. Then we went on vacation. When we returned my husband drove the car to work and the battery light remained on. Back to Valley GMC. ***** told ** that this time it was the **** We complained about the fact that they said it was the alternator and now the **** ***** said he would speak to *****************, the Service Manager, and have him contact **. We told him to proceed with the repair. The cost was $611.36. We never heard from *****. I left a message for the General Manager, *******************, and never heard back. ***** assured ** it was fixed. We picked it up and then had to return it the same day as the battery light was on again. ***** said the alternator was bad and they replaced it again. Neither ***** or ***** had called ** back, despite repeated messages. I spoke to the receptionist and left messages for ***** and also the owner, ***************. ***** assured ** the issue was fixed and that they drove it to make sure. We picked up the car and immediately returned it as the battery light was still on.***** called ** again and said that it was now the Canister Vacuum Pump and that we would have to pay $836.36 additional. My husband finally reached ***** who refused to do anything about the price and wouldnt listen to our complaints. We picked up the car because it had been a month since Valley GMC started work. We have spent a total of $2,188.83. Neither *** or ******************* has returned my calls, despite leaving voice mails and messages with the receptionist. Our car didnt need all of these parts. It was running fine but had a battery light on. They misdiagnosed the car and wanted ** to pay for their mistakes.

When I buy my ****** RAV 4 2019 from Apple Valley GMC, they asked me to buy a life time warranty which costs $2400 so that whenever my car broke they will fix for me with no additional charge out of pocket. I believed them trusted them that the life time warranty would help me out of pocket expense when my car breaks so that I paid this money added to the car loan. after 36 month of buying this car, broke and I have asked them to fix for me. They decline to do so because the warrant was not this way, it is 72 months or 125k millage and they refuse to fix my car. They have not explain to me this by the time they persuade me buy the wants and I end up paying this money for nothing. As consumer, who do we trust if not trusting such big company who its deals trick us a person like me? I want them to refund my money if they are not fixing my car,; they refused. Help please!!?

      ******,

As we discussed previously by phone, ************** purchased a 72/72,000 service contract which has expired. ********************** never has and never will sell a lifetime contract, so I dont know where the confusion came from. Additionally, ************** brought in shock absorbers he had purchased or acquired elsewhere, indicating he knew this wasnt going to be covered.

We did offer to install the shocks at an internal or employee labor rate, but naturally could not warrant parts we did not provide. You can convey this information to **************, but it has already been explained to him several times. While we obviously have all service contract and deal info, I feel for privacy reasons you should be getting copies from the customer, or at a minimum his written permission for disclosure.

If you have further questions please contact me. Thanks for you cooperation.

      Sincerely,
      ***************
      Vice President ********************** Automotive Group
