On March 31st, 2022, *************************, account executive, at ********************** visited both of our businesses to solicit advertisement in their Tri-County Directory book. Each business paid Town-Link $398 via check. Proofs were to be emailed to ** prior to advertisement. No books were published and no further communication was made by their business. On February 3rd of this year, ************************* reached out to the businesses via email advising that they had some delays and provided the owners information to ** and stated that these books were to be completed by late March. We reached out to ****, owner of the business advising that we were unhappy with the lack of communication, and the fact that the advertisement had not been completed. **** advised via text that these were close to be completed and offered 50% off for the next advertisement. I inquired if he was giving all businesses this discount for future advertising, and he stopped responding. On February 14th, 2023, we emailed ******** to advise her that we were opting out of future advertising and ask for our businesses to not be visited in the future. On April 13th, 2023, after no proofs were sent for ** to approve, I reached out to the other owner, *****, by text. He stated that the project was nearly finished. I advised him that we had not approved artwork for either business, and he stated he had been told that we did not want to advertise. I advised him that the email stated we had no interest in future advertisement with this company, and if we had been taken off, shouldn't a refund check have already been mailed? ***** stated he no longer owns the company and is ************. He stated he would get in town with ****, and a check be mailed. Unfortunately, this business has continued to stall refunding our money, and has yet to produce the directory that we paid for. We are requesting a full refund for both of our businesses, and no further contact.
