I've been trying to cancel my membership since August. First attempt was in a phone call when I was informed my request would be processed soon. Since I did not receive any confirmation, I went personally to the club and the attendant took notes of my name and informed me that he would process my request later. Once again, no confirmation and I decided to go to the club again and confirm if my request had been processed. This time, my professor ***** attended me and I explained my colleges. He took notes and committed to processing my membership cancellation, explaining that may last charge would be in September.On October 17 I was charged again! I can see my membership still active in the App, and I'm out of options to make them process my request, looking for BBBs assistance. I would like my membership to be cancelled and the October charge to be refunded please.Business response

Our system does not show a cancellation form filled out but we do not have any intention on making any of our members feel trapped or ignored. Effective immediately we have cancelled the membership and issued the refund for $75.34. Email confirmations of both processes were sent to the email we have on file for the account at ******************* We apologize for the issue and truly wish you the best.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Important to note that in the multiple times I contacted Title Boxing, including in-person at the club, I was never requested to fill out a cancellation form. Rather, my data was captured in a Post-It note with verbal confirmation that my request was going to be processed.
Nonetheless, case is resolved, thanks to BBB!

I called to cancel my membership due to my work schedule I was not able to come in during working hours. I still was getting charged and money taken out of my account with me NOT GOING TO THIS PLACE. i then called my bank to have them stop charging me and they did. Now they are continuing to charge me and putting fees on top of everything as well. They then sent a debt collector. I dont know how being clear when calling I am canceling they do not understand.Business response

We got a complaint to TITLE Boxing Club in Woodbury from ***********************. He is not a member at this club, I am not sure what club he is from but we have no record of him in and of our systems, new and old. He must be mistaken in which club he owes money to. Also, all cancellations need to be completed with a form and written request to cancel, just because he stopped coming doesn't mean management automatically cancels a membership. Again, not our club, but our policy for all TITLE Boxing Clubs is the member requesting to cancel.
