In May of 2021, I had the timing belt replaced as recommended by Mungenast Acura based on my car's mileage. At the time of service, the dealership did not replace the spark plugs. I took my car in for spark plugs and new coil packs on 9/14/2022. It cost $376 approximately, and they did not replace the coil packs. My car on 10/9/2022 misfired twice while going 80 mph. The engine was hesitating and that is why I took it in for spark plugs and coil packs on 9/14. In trying to just get my car to run like it used to prior to the services performed by Mungenast, I have received no help or solutions to my car problems. Instead, I'm being told they can't find anything wrong with my car. A week later when I had the mechanic take a ride with my boyfriend to see what the problem was, the mechanic states, "well, you know women, they don't know anything about cars." They recommend I pay to flush the transmission 3x's at the cost of $1,000 as a possible solution? Also, at the time I requested new spark plugs and coil packs I was given a hard sell about needing to do a valve adjustment for$1,000. My 2013 RDX does not have valves, it has computer chips. I feel like this dealership has done nothing but upsell me and not fix the real problem. I have owned Acura's since 2008, I have never experienced such BS from an Acura dealership.
