I HATED living here! If I could give negative stars I would. I'm not one to make bad reviews but this facility has made me cry more than I have in probably my entire life! let us start off with the fact that they have BED BUGS!!! *****; and then lying about our neighbors having them too when there are literally so many sofas and mattresses outside at the dumpster...this facility is a JOKE! multiple times someone from the maintenance team entered out apartment with out a phonecall or note before or after they left saying they had stopped by (which is against our lease agreement) this definitely did not make me feel safe in my home! Truly the most horrible experience dealing with anyone I've ever had! Ive been lied to, taken advantage of and disrespected as a renter! The communication is the absolute worst among the entire management team! and then refusing to provide an invoice of the pest control treatments THAT I PAID FOR! because they over charged me for the treatments done when they didn't even treat half of my apartment! and just wanted to take my money. They kept my deposit and said that I left stains all over my carpets (which is not true, they just don't want to take on normal wear and tear replacements.) I will forever warn everyone to stay away from the mills properties because they are horrible!Review from Hiawatha D

This place was the worst place Ive ever lived hands down. I had to live with roaches, fruit flies, brown recluse spiders, noise, parking issues, bathroom flooding, and terrible management. I was charged for more than $900 for carpet replacement when I have proof that it wasnt damaged. They had no sympathy for what I went through and the management was really hard to work with. They were upset with me because I criticized the conditions of my unit. My toilet flooded due to roots being in the line and they still charged me for carpet. I had to show proof to the person I was communicating with about damages her maintenance staff caused for her to remove a charge for the kitchen floor being ripped when they were exterminating the unit and fixing the refrigerator. This was the worst experience Ive ever had and from here on out I pledge to make sure everyone I can reach knows that Mills properties is not a good choice. I will be an advocate for people who have no voice. These people are Monsters and especially the manager.Mills Properties Response

STAY AWAY!! I've been at the Celtic crossing apartments for over 3 years now. Recently I had some maintenance done on my apartment involving removal of a deceased animal from the dryer vent, as the exit for the vents do not have covers (apartment negligence). I got a message saying work was completed (deceased animal removed, dryer vent fixed/cleaned, and animal droppings cleaned.) However when I came home from work that day I walked into an apartment filled with p*** covered dryer lint everywhere including in my kitchen sink next to a spoon. My dryer vent was still broken, and all of the animal droppings had just been pushed into a pile behind the dryer. Not to mention that my dryer was sticking out more than it should to the point where I couldn't even open the door. I contacted the management office the next day and asked why my apartment was left like this. The only answer I got was "I don't know" and that the maintenance guy would be off for the next 2 days. So now I'm without a dryer, I have to clean and sanitize my kitchen and most of the living room. I spent well over 3 hours sanitizing and cleaning up the mess left by the maintenance team. It took me going back to the office again to ask when my dryer vent would be reconnected and all of the animal droppings cleaned from behind the dryer (dryer is 3 feet away from the kitchen). For 5 days I had to live, breath and cook with animal droppings 3 feet away. I have contacted the mills property management team multiple times and have gotten no response after 2 weeks. This place is not updated at all except for new carport and maybe paint job that is it .. We moved in starting or 3 yr . and every year rent has went up last time ****** a month and ive talked to other people that lives in our apartment building and they are paying least then us and a couple guys i work with live there too and one has a 2 bedroom apt and has been there longer then us and he is still paying less when i brought that up to the office manager he told me they might have moved in on a special that is fine but not no 3 hundred difference!!!! so then we have to have renter insurance before you can move in and we have that we paid on it before our we resigned or lease but they have been charging me ***** a month since the beginning of the yr. and they wont take it off my monthly amount owed ive sent in my copy of paid insurance several time and the 3rd party they have taking care of insurance part kept refusing it just because in the header it didnt have bennington height in the right place but it was the same as when we first moved in i even took copys into the office and the office manger said it all looked good but then march rent came due and they added another ***** on for March . My last email from the office manger said they will not subtract that because of the time frame and that i even got told they can evict us for this !!!!Im so tired of this nasty place and the hateful staff working in the office!Mills Properties Response

This place is horrible my apt still isn't fixed from last July flood my ceiling feel in twice still not fixed security gate always broke car got broke into ask to see camera still waiting on security people it's been two weeks office staff keeps saying they coming next day corporate never answers there phone or email in the 2 years I've been living here now I'm wanting to transfer units and they telling me I owe ******************************************************************************************************************************************* carry a high balance for a year without any communication but I can make payment arrangement and stay in unit that maintenance said needs to be empty to fix but can't make arrangements to transfer make it make senseReview from Duane F

Management is very lax and neglectful of trash, maintenance and parking which has led to a series of documented criminal acts. I have contacted management several times about the rules here not being enforced and have been harassed for it. Eventually there were a series of criminal acts which I believe were crimes of opportunity because the grounds and buildings look very low class and not monitored. Some of the staff are very unprofessional and treat the residents as if basic service is harassment. For example, I have a plumbing problem from August that has not been addressed, despite 3 maintenance requests.Mills Properties Response

The application process for getting a apartment is a pretty huge scam. They tell you it will take multiple days then approve it much quicker and don't tell you. They are trying to stall for time to lock out their 72 hour deposit time and keep your money.I applied for a apartment, was accepted the next day, but not told until 5 days later. The leasing agent tried to say the office was open 7 days a week, but by her own admission was not in the office over the weekend, and no one else was allowed to work on my application.Anyone applying here should apply on a Monday or Tuesday and keep hounding them since they are going to drag their feet the whole time and try to withhold as much information as possible.Review from Branden P

When I first moved in I called because I had no working fridge/stove took them 1-2 weeks to come out and only reason why they came put was because I put a review on their page, Mr ********************** the owner shows up at my apartment the next day after the review threatening (trying to intimidate me) to kick me out if I didn't take the review down. complained about my window a/c unit leaking 6 oz of water every 30 minutes into my bedroom floor, took them a month to come out to look and I had told them the wall was soft and leaning inwards, lmao he pushes the wall back into place because it's so wet the wall just moves and tilted the a/c unit/wall so that the water would leak outside mainly which I had mold in that wall, in the flooring all into my closet and they did not care. I lived in the bottom floor unit and saw that one of the beams that holds the stairs up fell down so I called to help them out by telling them, lol they just came by and moved the same old rotted beam back into place and used 0 nails/screws to fasten it in.Mills property management is a complete joke of a company just complete slum lord filth, absolutely disgusting people/company.Mills Properties Response
