I will not go back to that dentist I will have nothing to do with his employees from the lady that answers the phone and doesn't return phone calls nor messages to his dental assistants completely subpar they should not be in business for how they treat people and leave them just formed and just figuredBusiness response

This is a continued effort from ***** to attempt to not have to pay for the treatment that she agreed to in the beginning. She went first to Care Credit, the finance company she used to pay for it, and tried to dispute the charge just days after the initial procedure, then denied that she did it when I spoke to her on the phone regarding the dispute. She then later disputed again with Care Credit for a different reason. Both disputes were rejected by Care Credit. Now she is attempting to get a refund via this complaint. She is not due a refund as her treatment, regardless of her claims in this complaint, is progressing under normal limits. This is a 9-12 month process and she should finish treatment to receive the final product. She will not be issued a refund.Initial Complaint

On 02/19/2024 I had an appointment to obtain immediate dentures. Made a purchase that date for a total fee of $3448. I hand delivered the dentures and everything I had received from them on May 14th. I remained dissatisfied with the materials after a 2nd relining so I returned them for a full refund based on their 100 day money back guarantee. After numerous calls and voice messages, they have not been in contact with me.Business response

Date of service: 5/20/2021 Type of service: Routine teeth cleaning Charge for service: $195.00 Insurance paid out of Network price of $98.00 I paid $97.00 I questioned the insurance company as I was advised that the Dental facility was IN-NETWORK. The insurance carrier corrected the billing and submitted the whole amount of $195.00. I have been fighting with since last year. I was continually advised that the refund was being sent out by the accountant firm. Inquiring several times as to the status of this $97.00 refund has not been resolved. They cannot "double dip" and get paid by the insurance company and the patient for the same procedure and keep my money. They are now under a new name: Formerly DDS DENTURES & IMPLANT SOLUTIONS. Now: AFFORDABLE DENTURES & IMPLANTS. Same office staff and dentists. I need assistance to get my refund and to let others know what type of office this is.Business response

The EOB that we have on file from ****** **********, for the date of service, represents that everything in the patient's account is correct. They paid based on out of network benefits, as we are currently out of network. The EOB the patient has attached to this complaint does NOT match what we were sent from ****** **********. However, we have no problem adjusting the account if ****** ********** wants to provide us with a new or "corrected" EOB. The one the patient has provided will not suffice.Customer response

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because: The EOB shows payment to the facility. I will contact my insurance and get more information as to the additional payment to them and provide it as soon as I get that information.
Sincerely,
****** ****
