I took the car to this garage for transmission replacement. He put it in, but he didn't put it in correctly. When I went there, the car wouldn't start. We asked him for the receipts for the parts that he purchased. He said he didn't know why the car wouldn't start and he would speak very little to us. The battery had lost the charge and something was not connected underneath the van. The police were called. They were able to start the car. The car is still there and now I'm being charged for storage. He put the transmission in but other things were broken. He agreed at first to let me pay on the vehicle but now he has changed his mind and wants me to pay it all in one lump sum, $681.00 which includes two days' of storage.Business response

He was here on the 16th. I asked him to give me 10 minutes because I work alone and I already had a car on the rack, and I needed to finish looking at that. After two minutes he got mad and left. I didn't drop everything. So he is upset. Otherwise I don't know what this is about.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I have the car but now I have front end damage. I feel what he took apart, he did not put it back together properly. I want him to fix what he damaged.

He has to bring the van in in a timely manner for two hours for me to check the suspension for damage and normal wear and tear. If it is normal wear and tear the customer will be responsible for parts and labor at his expense.
