I couldn't be happier with my experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. They took the time to understand my sleep preferences and guided me through their various options without any pressure.I ended up choosing local Missouri made mattress, and it has been a game-changer for my sleep. The quality is outstanding, and I love that its made from sustainable materials. Delivery was prompt, and the team was careful while setting it up in my bedroom.Review from Katharine K

Simply HORRIBLE experience!!! Ordered and paid for a mattress 07/13/23, was advised would be 3-5 wks for delivery. Called every single week starting at 6 wks out. All we were advised that was it should be soon, then the Company who makes the mattress' was coming out of bankruptcy or product shortage. Did get a $200 credit for the long wait and mattress protector (never got that either) and continued to call and wait. Finally on 01/08/24 called cancelled order and requested a refund; was advised 2 - 3 wks for refund. After 3 wks, called again and advised they only do refunds once a month and they do not know when Accountant cuts checks plus all communication w/Accounting is done via emails, so she has no one to speak to....give me a break!!! Most of the time you call, either voice mail is full or the person is not available and you cannot get a return call! THIS IS THE POOREST EXCUSE OF A BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!! ZERO Stars. If I could do zero stars I would, my sister purchased mattresses spending almost $2000 in July here it is October and still no mattresses, they also said no refund. Speaking with a worker they have not had a delivery since March. But continue to take people money without giving people a refund. Voice mail is full, no one answers the phone. Go on their website to the reviews and all you see is people who have been scammed by Mattress Direct ***************. My sister has had multiple strokes and suffers from Lupus which causes the body to hurt and she don't have another $2000 just to go somewhere else to get mattresses. This place should be shut down all they are doing is stealing people money to keep them open!!Review from peggy k

order a bed on 1-28-23 for my sick husband---2-2-23 he died--2-6-23 call and cancel order--said it would be 4 to 6 weeks befor I could get a refund---well its been over 90 days now--the bed cost nearly 3000.00---everytime I call they tell me the same story--I NEED MY MONEY and I NEED IT NOW---got bills to pay---can someone helpReview from Mitch W

Well I feel like I’m not doing much here since this page is littered with 1 star reviews of the same manner. It’s almost like this company doesn’t care how customers view them for some reason. I purchased a queen size mattress and box frame from MD on March 2nd of 2023 and I paid about 1,200 In cash and was told k would have to wait 3 weeks for a mattress. 2 days go by and I decide that I don’t want to wait 3 weeks for a mattress. So I decide to go return it and get one from weekends only since they’re closing. So I go do the return and *** was the man who helped me. He claims he told me my refund would have to come in the form of a check and that it would take 6-8 weeks. I don’t recall him saying that because if he did I would have had many more questions instead of going home. I also asked him if I could have the check mailed to a different address and he said he would have to ask corporate. I then asked him when I could get an update on that information and he said in the next 1-2 days. But I wasn’t contacted and he doesn’t recall. That being said, he’s also been the most helpful person in this company. He showed me the number to their “customer service” line, which I called about 25 times and left multiple messages with no answer. I’ve also called their Bridgeton location which I’ve been told is where their customer service office is. No answer. I’ve emailed them. No answer. There is no way to contact anyone with answers within this company, let alone anyone with a say so. at the least, I just want someone to explain to me why a check from a corporate office, 20 minutes from my house, is going to take 5 weeks longer to get to me than an entire mattress and box frame. It makes no sense. Especially when I purchased and returned a couch from *********** in the exact same manner for the exact same reasons. I made the purchase and return the same day as I did the Mattress direct return. They paid me within ten days, their corporate office is 8 hours from my house.Review from Mark M

EPIC FAIL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE In October 2021, we purchased a mattress and foundation from Mattress Direct. Due to an extended delivery time, this order was canceled in December 2021. This was prior to receiving it. In April of 2022 we discovered that the refund had not been credited to our account. We contacted Mattress Direct and informed them that we did not receive the refund. They told us they would contact the corporate office to ask about the status. We then spoke with an employee at the Bridgeton office who told us that he would be back in contact with us no later the following day. No response was received. A week later, we spoke with the Mattress Direct’s Wentzville location. They emailed Management asking that they address the issue and contact us. In June 2022, we met in person with the manager at the Bridgeton store. She told us that she would pass the matter to the owner who would meet with accounting sometime within the next 45 to 60 days to handle the matter. She stated that she would be in contact within 24 hours to confirm. No further communication was received following this visit. In September 2022, we again attempted to contact the owner by certified letter and email. Delivery of the letter was declined, and no reply to the email was received. Finally, having exhausted all options short of small claims court, we contacted the BBB and the ******** ******** ******** Mattress Direct declined to respond to the BBB, but contacting AG finally convinced the owner to refund our purchase amount in January 2023, after over a year of asking Mattress Direct to address this matter. It is EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTING that a company whose owner paints himself an asset to the local community and upstanding businessman did not have the professionalism or decency to address this claim in an ethical and expedient manner. The overall customer experience was unacceptable. We WILL NOT be a return customer and most defiantly DO NOT recommend this company.Review from Nicholas Z

Bought a king ********************** back in 2021 from the ************ ** location. In January of ****************************************************************** the bed. They stated it was under warranty and to file online. On 1/15/2022 I file and got a response that it was filed with an ID number. Within the month I received emails asking for pictures of everything. (Mattress, cover, frame, rails, any stains, pretty much everything) I responded as soon as I could those pics taken. A couple months went by and nothing, so I call the local branch to find out they closed and called the ******** branches. They said I needed to send in pictures again as the manufacturer did not get them. I am not sure where they went the first time. Throughout this year I have called several times getting the same response. We will check into this with the manufacturer warranty department and get back to you. Same song, same dance. After those calls in the following weeks, I think I have had one call from them saying the warranty department is about 4 weeks out of things so sit tight. There is a lack of follow up from anyone on this warranty that is on this **********************. A warranty is only as good as the company. So here the complaint and warning others to be aware of this situation from Mattress direct.Review from D. B.

****** Up...no customer service at all. Paid $2500 for ********************** in October and still to this day I haven't received my mattress. No one to call store always closed. It's just ****** Up. I hate Mattress Direct. Please save yourself the headaches and go to your neighborhood store cheaper price and much better service.Mattress Direct Response

Unfortunately, with delays of raw materials, shipping issues nationwide, and holiday closures the mattress has not made it to our distribution center as of yet to be able to set up the in-home delivery. Please just cut me a check today and send it to me today let me know that my check was cut in full mattress directing kiss my ***. I would never do business with them again and would not recommend them to anyone very poor customer service.
