They let my water bill get over 800 they called to tell me I've never gotten a bill paid 200 on it never got a receipt the office Manger **** ****** has gotten smart and hateful with me over it made threats. My attorney called and informed him I was fileing bankruptcy and including that bill. I get a call saying they need a letter from my attorney. Then I get a letter from one of their attorneys saying they are going to seize my home and property over a now 600 water bill that I am fileing bankruptcy on. **** ****** is rude hateful and treats u like dirt when u try to talk with him. He's the same one who was installing my neighbors water and busted my main water line under ground 2 months prior to my bill going from 18 to 25 a month to over 800 in one months time. He acts like he's better then u and if your a woman lord help the way you get treated and talk to by him he acts like u owe him not the company.Business response

The Water District #1 reached out to ***** ******* on October 21,2021, when reading the meter on account # ****. Our reading system lets us know that there is a leak. The leak contained 136,800 gallons used resulting in a bill of $916.56. Once the reading system let us know, Mr. ****** notified **** *****, secretary, to call and let Mrs. ******* know of the leak. **** ****** turned her meter off so no more water would run through her meter to be charged. When speaking to Mrs. ******* we let her know of how much water went through her meter. At that time, she was told of how many gallons and the cost. **** ***** also let her know that we would work with her on her payment, she was told that she would need to make her regular payment of $18.45 and a $100.00 extra until paid off. ***** ******* said she wasn't living there but had an idea of who would have left it on.
***** also said that the water company hit her mainline, when actually her neighbor was the one that hit the water main because he was putting in electric line. And he didn’t call in a line locate. That customer ended up paying a bill because of that. Mrs. ******* wasn’t involved in that incident.
The complaint that Mrs. ******* said that Mr. ****** was being rude, hateful, treats you like dirt, acts like he’s better than anyone. **** ***** is the one that spoke with her on this matter. Mrs. ******* is more than welcome to come to our next board meeting and voice her complaints
