First the company is not BBB accredited and their website says they have an A plus BBB rating!Buyers beware, the worst dealer ever. My daughter bought the car and the 3 year ***** mile gold extended warranty. The dealership only offered a 30 day warranty. 500 miles later the starter went out, we were told the starter was not covered, so I replaced it. 2 days later the dealer said it was covered but would not reimburse me for anything ( i have them telling me that in texts.) Then within 50 miles the check engine light came on, they said get it here and they would get to it when they get time. (also in text). When asked in text when i could get it in i got no response. At this point our daughter had the car less then 3 weeks. Then they said take it anywhere, so we did. The timing chain came apart and destroyed the motor, the dealer offered us $125. THIS ALL HAPPENED WITHIN THE FIRST 30 DAYS WHICH THEY WARRANTY!!!! The motor is trashed! Yet they were willing to do absolutely nothing except say use your insurance and have it towed. My deductible for each occurrence is $250. The motor is trashed and the *************** said it needs a new long block motor and the dealer still said "we will give you $125" and told me to get the car there. I explained to them the motor is torn apart and I was not gonna pay 2 places to look at the car especially when they ( the dealer) could not guarantee to fix the vehicle for what the warranty company wants to pay. The car is still in the shop. Also we left multiple messages for the salesman and manager with no response. The manager, ******* did finally reach out to us but it was only after we left multiple messages. Oh *** and the general manager was supposed to reach out to me 9/15/23, still waiting to hear from him. PLEASE NO ONE EVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER. IF YOU DO GOOD LUCKReview from Neil M

Price gouging over MSRP! Misrepresenting and exaggeratting the cost and worth of the vehicle then calling it "market price adjustment". I didn't even know what that was. I thought we were paying full MSRP not 2K over, PLUS additional dealer PRO PACK which added another $1849 for vinyl mats and ************** Train Warranty, which they did not mention it is not transferable. $3849 over list price, plus service agreements and maintenance agreements which I cancelled the second day after realizing how much we had been taken for. The total price of the car still reflected the maintenance agreements of $3477 which was added into the total sales price of the car, and we have to pay sales tax on! We did not see the entire contract before signing electronically on a small iPad type device until after it was signed and printed.Review from Stacie K

I purchased a used vehicle from West county Honda . After a week or so of owning the car , all these hidden issues appeared . One vent feel through the compartment so I checked out the others to find that they have all been shimmed with paper to hold them in place . The sunroof leaks and they said they didn’t know about it so they won’t fix it . I took the car to a body shop who determined that the whole sunroof needs to be replaced and with in mins they could tell that the sunroof has been adjusted to hide the issue and that this would of been seen if the dealership properly inspected the vehicle . It is a common practice to do this when hiding a problem . I spoke to the sales manager ***** ********* who kept on insisting that they inspected it and found no issue and then continued to say I called them a liar which I did not and if lines are recorded they can play it back to see I didn’t . ***** said I am never to call them back unless I got a lawyer . He also said that the car is “as is” however the attorney general states that it is fraud to misrepresent a vehicles condition which they obviously did . I provided the opportunity to make it right and fix the issues but still won’t . I have filed a complaint with the AG , FTC and will be contacting DOE as well . I am currently reaching out to the GM of the dealership to inform them of thier practices at this location as well .Review from Brian G

I made an agreement with them in writing in an email on a purchase price for a vehicle. After driving 45 minutes to complete a trade-in, they couldnt sell it at that price anymore. Zero integrity. Zero class.Review from Benjamin L

West County Honda has a car appraisal service on its website. I am looking to sell my 2020 Honda CRV and received a range of $30,469 to $33,019. I also received another email saying that I could "Upgrade my offer" that could increase my offer by $1000 or more. I spoke with ************ text and he told me I would need to come in. I came in and waited about 20 minutes. When they came back with their offer... it was $30,000. When I mentioned that the offer was MUCH lower than expected they just said "we already have some to sell". They are using bait and switch tactics to get you into the dealership in order to get you to settle for less.Review from Sarah W

On Saturday 2/19/22, I went to West County Honda for an oil change in my 2012 Accord. I decided to trade in my 2012 Honda Accord for $7,000 and purchase a brand new 2022 Honda Accord-EXL. The sticker price (MSRP) was listed as $33,850.00, less my $7,000 trade I was looking at a net to finance amount around $26,850 (vehicle only). During the discussion with the salesperson, we negotiated back and forth on the trade, and I asked her why the “Fair Market” value rate is listed as $38,499+499 ($39,194.00) and the sticker (MSRP) was listed at $33,850.00? She explained it’s addon’s including the side molding and all-season protection package, at no point in this discussion with the salesperson or the signing of the finance manager did they explain that they are price gouging with a markup of $3,000 due to the market industry demands. If they would have said that I would have taken my current vehicle and left, I refuse to pay more than what a vehicle is worth. After further reviewing the contract over the weekend, building the vehicle online, there was an increase over MSRP of $5,324.00, plus I decided to cancel the extra maintenance addon’s they offered. On 2/22/22, I went back to West County Honda, and I spoke to the Salesperson, Sales Manager, and the Finance Manager. I explained that I was not happy with their sale processes and feel it’s unethical that they are price gouging their customers and not informing them of the details which are included in the price of the vehicle. During my discussions with the Salesperson and Sales Manager, they advised “Everyone is doing it!” I explained that is not an excuse and I was getting nowhere with them, and I would be contacting the General Manager of Honda, Attorney General, my attorney, and the news groups. I asked to speak with the finance manager to remove the maintenance packages totaling $4,425.00. He agreed to cancel the packages and credit the funding amount back to the finance company, Wells Fargo.Review from Jennifer O

After paying $100 to have my van diagnosed, *********** department agent told me what would fix the problem $1,000 so I had it fixed. Two days later the same problem occurred and wasnt fixed. I brought it back in and was told that wasnt the problem and that I needed to spend $3,800 to fix the real problem.
