I am still using my Riccar from the late 1980’s and was finally looking to purchase a new vacuum. I was planning to go all in and get the ****, I used your online search tool and called a few vacuum shops only ONE of them still carries Riccar, the others said “the moment Riccar started making their entry tier vacuums overseas I stopped carrying Riccar nobody wanted to buy a made in China vacuum they are buying the German made vacuums”. The ONE that still carries Riccar said they haven’t been able to get a shipment from you in MONTHS. I called your 1-888-6-Riccar number and some vacuum store in the city of Orange here in California answered. The person that did, didn’t state their name, OR name of the shop. I asked about the **** they said they only have the ***’s. I asked them if they could order an *** and they said “we will NOT order an *** because they are too complicated to work on”, they then asked if I was interested in an ***, I said no I want an R40, the store said “ok bye” and hung up. I don’t know if you can figure out which store that was but that is REALLY bad customer relations on YOUR part. You transfer my call to a “local” dealer who talks poorly of your higher tier model, don’t tell me what dealer it is, nobody tells me their name and I get hung up on. Literally, someone who you contract with to sell your product is talking bad on your brand and your highest tier model! I really don’t know if I’m interested in a Riccar vacuum anymore after this unless you step it up. It’s my understanding that the *** is assembled in the USA. I don’t think to remain competitive you need to move your low tier ones to China, I think you need to fix your brand image. People will pay a lot for customer service! The two dealers I talked to said there is NO 30 day satisfaction guarantee, so I can’t even try it to see if it’s worth it. I can go buy a dyson at ****** and return it within 30 days if I don’t like it I can return it. Figure this out please!Business response
