The business did terrible work. The angles of the driveway made it so water ran toward the house and leaked in the basement. They did fix the pooling with a drain but once again it was not at a proper angle and the water just stayed there. Because of the angles I would trip a lot. The city made them redo the front entrance of the driveway where it was at the street as it didn't meet code. It was just a terrible job I had other contractors come over and they agreed it was terrible. They wouldn't even clean up their mess they left of gravel and mud in our yard. I told them it wasn't a good driveway and one of their workers agreed but nothing was done about it. I just finally had to have another contractor come to redo the new driveway.Business response

***** ****** driveway project response letter:
The concrete driveway was completed in late summer of 2021. ***** verbalized to our
foreman on site that she was very happy with the driveway and paid the invoice in full. After
the driveway was completed, it was brought to our attention that the end of the driveway
needed to be modified where it meets the street to comply with city code. This was not a
problem; we then went to the city and received the permits needed to bring the driveway up to
the new code. This was in January 2022 and the weather was not suitable to install concrete so
we were delayed for a couple weeks on completion. We were more than happy to do anything
needed to make the driveway correct and up to the city code to connect to the street. *****
contacted us and said that she called the city to cancel our permits and that she no longer
needed our services. ***** then had the driveway removed and replaced without notifying or
consulting with us.
Summer of 2023 ***** contacted me and said she could not stand paying for the
driveway twice and wanted us to refund her for the first driveway which was completed 2 years
prior.
We do not see any valid reason the driveway should have been removed, nor do we
have any way of addressing issues with the driveway that is no longer in existence. We do not
believe there to be any justification for ****** to be held liable to pay for the driveway to be
replaced.
