We paid approximately $9,000 in April of 2024 for a new AC and furnace unit to be placed and was told two weeks for the turnaround. We kept getting one excuse after another; the wrong size was ordered, the new one hasnt come in yet, the technician is out of town, etc. I called the technician from a different number than my own and finally got him to agree to a time to install, and he did not show up on that date. I have been calling all three numbers I have found or been given, and have heard no response from any persons.Initial Complaint

My air conditioner went out and found this place. I called them and ****** came down and looked at it, stating it was going to cost 10k for a furnace and an air conditioner. I asked him if he could go a little lower. Told me I would need to pay 5k up front in the form of a check and to leave it blank to the recipient. I**;ve been trying to get a hold of him for a couple weeks now with no response. When I call I only get a recording, but before when I called other people would answer and fast.Customer response

October 12 2023 an Hawkins employee came to my house and took a check to do some electrical work on my home. I paid him in full he gave me a paid in full receipt. The check was cashed that day by the owner of the company ***********************. After at least 5 texts from Hawkins making appointments for me to expect them in my home to do the work and then no show and not answering the phone I went to the company office and caught the person that took my check. He said he would follow me home and do the work. He did not. Finally on another day that person came to my house and did partial work. At some point the owner of the company did some work on the outside of my house. The City of ****** said it was done incorrect and it had to be redone. At one point Hawkins said they was waiting on the city. Untrue. The city came as soon as they were told by me. The electric had to be completed in order for the siding guy do that end of the house. They were not happy with this siding job going into cold weather. I called the city for help. No help from ********* and no stopping them from working in the city. I had to hire someone else to do the job and it was completed on Dec. 7, 2023. Hawkins has never contacted me. As far as they know the job is not done yet. I am a 73 year old female and I live alone.Initial Complaint

I called this company to come out an take a look at a unit that I have a 10 year warranty on. I have called them twice and then again this morning. This morning no one answered. When I called before I was able to leave a message and she would have the owner get in touch with me. I haven't heard from him.Business response
