I have visited this office twice as a Veterans Administration referral from my primary care provider at the VA in Waynesville, Missouri. As a patient I received several testing procedures. November 2021 was my last appointment. On 1/27/2022, I received a bill from ***** *********** for $1,725.09 (attached). The bill stated I was 90 days late in resolution. I have never received a bill prior to this mentioned notice. I called ***** *********** and they stated the bill was a result of Central Missouri ENT and that it had been entered without proper information. They said to call M -ENT and have them call to resolve. I called M-ENT and the first phone call was told she had the bill in hand, would take care of it and would let me know when it was resolved. They called back and stated that the appointment was scheduled, but I had not went to ***** (which I have never) and the bill in *****ion was actually an appointment that is in a "hold" status. I told M-ENT that ***** said they would simply remove it if M-ENT would call to resolve. She flat out refused to call and told me to call ***** back. I called ***** back and again, they told me they could not do anything unless M-ENT called to straighten out the situation. Apparently, some of the tests ordered by M-ENT had been (***** stated) sent to ***** for testing as a third party. I don't know anything about how testing is done, where it sent or how it is billed. I do know that as a Retired US Marine and disabled Vet, I have a proper referral from the VA. I also know that I have worked hard all my life to keep perfect credit and pay my bills on time. A 90 day notice can be reported on my credit. I was very disappointed with M-ENT and their complete lack of genuine concern for my frustration and my problem which does not involve me at all. I am now at a stand still - ***** won't adjust the problem and M-ENT won't help. I believe it is M-ENT's responsibility as billing source to get involved and resolve.
