Have an old rollover 401k account do not work for the company. Need the funds sent to my bank account: they put a hold on my account. I do not speak English I made this clear when I called an gave permission for my daughter in law to speak to them. They will not release my money and I need it sent to my bank account on file. I need my money I do not need the account anymoreBusiness response

I am writing you in response to ******* ********* complaint about American Century Investments on your website dated April 4, 2023. An individual other than the account owner is attempting to liquidate the account, and we think the complainant is that person. We're actively monitoring and investigating the matter and will continue to take steps to protect our client's investments.

Im disgusted because i faxed in the paperwork to this investment firm and a picture of my license. And they will not listen or release the funds. My sons tried helping me because my english is not so great.Business response

Dear Sir or Madam: We’re confident that the individuals contacting us and filing a complaint against us are not the actual account owners. Consequently, we are attempting to reach the rightful account owners so we can take steps toward resolution. Until we are in contact with our actual clients, we will not take any action on their account.

I am rejecting this response because: i have sent in my license and required forms by fax. I do not speak english i have had my sons helping me. I no longer work for the company that had this as my 401k. It is always an excuse. I faxed in forms to withdraw. I have my bank account on file. I sent in a picture of my license with my current address. If my funds are not released i will contact a lawyer. They have not tried contacting me at all. My sons have been trying to speak to them because i cannot speak english.

Cannot get access to my account because they have the wrong SS #Business response

American Century Investments has taken action on this situation, and the client now has the ability to access account balance information. We ask that the client please contact us at ************** if further issues are experienced. We consider this matter closed.
