I moved in to my current residence on May 31, 2022, understanding that workers had not yet finished tiling and other aesthetic work in the kitchen. I told the owner I was fine with the workers coming in during my first week there and finishing up. That never happened. In fact, after moving I realized that I had no running water in the kitchen, the stove didn't work, the fridge wasn't even plugged in when I moved in and when I did plug it in it makes loud whining noises on/off throughout the day. The bathroom sink leaked, there is no door on the bathroom, the closets aren't set up so I can't hang my clothes, a hallway light was on and I couldn't turn it off because there is no light switch for that light, the large electric FOR LEASE sign was not removed (I took it out of the window and placed it in the hallway & later almost fell down the stairs bc I tripped over the cords), and the washer/dryer I was promised I would receive within 2 weeks didn't arrive and I wasn't given information re: where my mailbox was or how to get a key. Because I didn't have access to my mailbox I missed an event I had been waiting 2 years to attend because the tickets were mailed. I repeatedly emailed the owner/property manager and she was simply unresponsive. When I called she wouldn't take my calls, so I had to call her husband on a weekend and explain my situation - she took the phone and said she would send someone over. They took care of everything on June 25th, almost a month after I moved in, except the fridge, the closet, the tile work in the kitchen, the bathroom door, and the washer/dryer. She finally sent over a washer/dryer but they are separate units w/ the dryer sitting on top of the washer. The washer stopped working one load in, and I have to get up on a step ladder to even try to reach the dryer controls, which is dangerous. I was told I'd get both a new washer & dryer last Thursday between 3-6pm. I am still waiting. Communicating with her is hard because now she's upset
