I had a contract which stipulates the down payment for the materials. He started the work and used ****** dollars of the down payment I gave him for the materials he then pressured me into releasing more money . I complied the first time but refused the 2nd time he asked me for more money to buy materials. He bought ****** worth of materials with the down payment but he refused to buy the required materials with the rest of the down payment. After I refused he walked out and didn't finish the job. He damaged my windows as well.Business response

Property has 2 sections with a steep pitched roof. Required safety line anchors to be installed to begin work to start. All aluminum siding was then removed from both areas and hauled away to be disposed of. Both areas the. Had housewrap installed (******) per roll. Lower section was nearly completed with new installation of vinyl siding. ($153.00) per box 1 box per section along with j channel 28 pieces $6.00 a piece starter strip 7 pieces $4.00 a piece and 8 sill trim $5.00 each installed with 2 roof nails $56.00. This process was 4 days where I also had an employee with me. ($200.00 per day) and a 50 mile drive per day round trip. I then had a family member who had to go to the emergency room that I needed to use the remainder of the customers money to pay for the trip. The following day I requested an additional 300 to buy the last of the materials needed ( not additional to bill but to be applied towards already agreed amount final estimate cost. Client then said she did not want to continue with project I politely accepted her decision removed my safety lines and roof anchors reinstalled asphault **** shingles left any materials for her particular job I had remaining for her to use. Then a month layer she called the credit vard company and had all money reversed from my account. I now have a property lien against the clients property after my accounts were frozen due to now negative balances. *** was nearly complete had Maybe 2 more days worth of work for her to want to stop work over 300 dollars that was only being applied to the dollar amount she already previously agreed upon is still questioning whether she intended to s**** me the whole time. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference tocomplaint ID ********. The response was not based on the contract we signed. However, we were able to negotiate the terms based on my how I wanted a resolution to take place. The outcome was satisfactory and the the dispute is settled.
