This is the 2nd roof we’ve had Bordner install due to hail damage. They were professional from the start and worked well with our insurance company. Would recommend them.

Everything I was prepared for during my estimate visit was the exact opposite of what actually occurred. Right down to fixing an issue that was supposed to be included with the bid. FYI...Jacob B**** makes promises that are not kept! Here is what occurred during my roof installation.... 1. Sunday night at just before 9pm our doorbell rings (we are in bed) to someone telling us to be out of the driveway by 7am. 2. When opening the garage door, the next morning at 530am I already had a full driveway, for which I had to wait 20+ minutes for all to move to get our cars out. 3. The neighbors said the roofers started before it was light outside and worked into the evening until almost 930pm. 4. Not a lot was cleaned up for day 2. The compressor used in the back of the house was never unplugged and ran all night. I picked up at least 3 complete shingles (pieces), and numerous nails just out of our front flower bed alone. The adhesive plastics from the shingles were everywhere and really still are along with shingle particles all over the front sidewalks and stonework on the front of the house. 5. The satellite dish they removed for me was laying in the front yard along with a blower and multiple other tools were left in the middle of the driveway. The cable was left on the house hanging over the gutter directly in front of a dining room window. Once they were finished at the end of day three all seemed well until the first big rain a couple of days later (See Picture below). The issue that was supposed to be included in the bid left this mess on my front porch and continues to be worse than before they attempted to fix it. After numerous attempts to get them to come back out, I gave up. Lesson learned...Never make the final payment until EVERYTHING is complete. Interesting side note, I paid the office my final payment, and still had Jacob calling me trying to collect the payment a week later. Very disappointed and will never recommend or use them again!

Bordner did a great job with our arch window replacement. We'd recommend their company. Each person we dealt with was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We had been happy with the roof and gutter replacement on our prior house in Olathe from Bordner so we contacted them for a window replacement quote. Mary at the office was pleasant and set up a convenient time for us. Our sales rep, Chad, was on time; he listened to our needs and was knowledgeable about the products and services for the specialty arch window. They make sure it's ordered accurately from the manufacturer by having it measured and reviewed by a second person. Eric measured and took pictures. He details it all out for the installers. The window actually came in earlier then anticipated and Mary scheduled the installers, again, at a convenient time for us. Our installers, Carlos and Jose, were great. They were courteous and worked well together. They answered all our questions. Our replacement window looks great. Caroline Burnett

Just had a bathroom remodel recently and very satisfied with the workmanship, adherence to schedule, and clean up. Very satisfied with the installer, Damion. He did a terrific job.

Adam and Mary were helpful throughout the process of getting our roof fully approved by the insurance company who needed to be convinced that a second inspection was needed. The roof is on and looks great. It only took the installation crew a day and a half to replace our tricky-shaped roof. Now we are working on getting the completed project approved and paid for by insurance.

March 2022, Bordner's extended three bathroom vent hoses and installed three roof vents and connected the hoses. April 2024, I checked the attic and saw that two of the hoses had fallen away from the roof vents and were laying on the attic insulation. Saw that the vents were improperly secured just with plastic straps to the vents, instead of metal cable clamps that can be tightened to where they will not fall off. Called Bordner's, and they scheduled a repair appointment in three weeks. When no one showed up for the appointment, I contacted them after 40 minutes past the scheduled time. Was informed the appointment was cancelled but not provided a reason. Was told a supervisor would look into it and get back with me. The next day, late morning, called again to see if the issue was being worked. Was then told that supervision had deemed the work to be outside of their business scope. I explained that it was their work and gave them the original job number. I was then contacted and was told they changed their scope of work about a year ago and this type of work is not included now. Also informed that the warranty was just for a year. I questioned that as their warranty sheet has at the top "Workmanship Limited Lifetime Warranty" and this was obviously a workmanship issue. Received an apology, the phone numbers of a few handyman services, and a $50 VISA gift card for my trouble. I went to Lowes, purchased three cable clamps, and reattached the two fallen hoses and properly secured the third hose. Disappointed in this poor business practice as it took me longer to purchase the clamps than to properly secure them.

Carlos and Jose were clean, careful, and professional. I love my new window! They put down a cover to be sure my tub did not get chipped. I was amazed at how quick the job was. They caulked and trimmed it beautifully. Thanks so much!

We have some water issues in the front of our house, they come and gave us an estimate, which was very reasonable. They were up front about if there was more damage it could go up. Work was done in two days. Price is what I expected. They clearned up and the guys made sure I was happy with the job. Will use them AGAIN!!!!!
