We signed a contract for a pool with Aqua Pool Pros (Owned by Pro Basement) to be complete November 2021. There has been one problem after another. (LO) collected a hefty down payment when we signed the contract. (LO) collected another payment when they dug the first scoop of dirt in September of 2021. They tore up the yard getting the equipment in. On the 2nd day of digging, they hit our brand new hot tub with their machine. After 2 days, they left a mountain of dirt and disappeared for 2 months. Little communication was given. We continually requested updates. They brought the pool kit over in November and haphazardly put some of it together and left it until spring. They gave excuses. Team members in crisis, other pools ahead of us, the owner called us bullies and threatened that (JG) would leave the property if we were rude, only to have (JG) call and say he didn’t feel bullied by us. Our concerns have been dismissed. When we family emergency, (LO) made sure to collect a check before we left. We have scheduled meetings, taken off work, and they do not show. We have grading issues, water pooling around equipment (leak?), concrete splatter on the fence, house, and left on the ground and covered with dirt. The concrete itself looks terrible. Their electrician left a hole in our drywall and a mess in our basement. They buried our sump pump pipe with dirt so now the water coming out has no place to go and the yard in that area is soupy. There is one side of the pool that appears to be slanted inward. The list goes on. The owner (LO) and project manager (JG) only seem interested in money. They found numerous unplanned expenses. They do not meet their commitments, communicate, and consistently make bad decisions on behalf of customers. We have never failed to make a payment on time or be accessible. They refuse to give advance notice of when they are coming to work. Our project is yet to be finished, and will need reworked by another quality company.

We had water in our basement twice in the past two years as a result of hydro-static pressure. we have a finished basement that is lived in. The flooring was ruined in one end of the basement, Pro Basement evaluated the work required and gave us a good estimate. They sealed off one end of the basement and begin the task of removing the concrete using a jackhammer. They removed the broken concrete and dug the hole for a sump pump. They installed the latest material for the drain, the sump pump and fresh gravel. They removed the bottom section of the drywall and the insulation. They removed the bottom section of the wall studs. they installed metal section of the wall studs and new drywall and the sump pump. They added piping for the sump to drain outside the house. They concreted the drain tile and were ready to go. They removed the rest of the flooring an cleaned up the mess. We contracted with them to install a new waterproof material called LifeLock, they primed and painted the new drywall. They installed a new molding. I have missed a lot of what they accomplished as my only knowledge of sump pump installation was what I had seen on You Tube. They worked 7-day weeks to complete and finished in less than two weeks. We were pleased with the job they did.
