Beware the deceptive website listings.I purchased a Triton router from them because they were the only ones that didn't say the item was out-of-stock or backordered. I scoured every page during the checkout process and saw nothing mentioning the Triton router was out of stock, so I bought it at full price. A couple of days later, I received an email that I assumed was a tracking number for my shipped Triton router. It was just an invoice with a small memo that read: ETA End of August.So, I called and learned the router is backordered.Every other tool dealer states under each item if it is out-of-stock on their website. For some reason, Beaver Industrial is perfectly happy to let you pay in full for a Triton router even though the router is not actually available, only to crush your hopes a couple of days later with a vague memo informing you of a delay.Review from Karl B

First time dealing with BIS: They answered their website chat promptly, gave me written estimates via email promptly and made me feel confident in purchasing from them. I was able to pick up my Supermax Drum sander at their STL location (in stock), no manufacturer "shipping charge" and got help loading it in my F-150. Overall an A+ experience.Review from John F

Not only does Beaver Industrial Supply not get the shipping address correct, they then LIE about it to try to cover their inability to get it right. There was ZERO customer service, no effort to try to correct THEIR MISTAKE! No follow up just blame the customer. The only effort theyve demonstrated is to respond to my review and try to cover their backside!My recommendation for Beaver Industrial Supply is get the shipping address right! Fix their website to do reflect what the customer enters. My recommendation for shoppers. Just dont be a customer!Beaver Industrial Supply, Inc. Response

This customer placed his order online and entered the address where he wanted his product shipped. After his order shipped, he called and claimed that we were sending his order to the wrong address. When ordering he must have allowed the address to autofill from a previous order or something else happened on his end, because we do not key or alter any ship to addresses of orders placed online. This customers order shipped to the address he entered on his order.
The freight carrier reached out to us when they were trying to schedule the delivery with the customer and said that the customer wanted to change the ship to address. We informed him that since this was the address that he had entered when he placed the order online, it was not our fault that his order was shipped to the wrong address.
We informed ***** freight that we approved of the ship to address change, but we would not accept the reconsignment fee and the customer would have to pay for the reconsignment fee. Our customer service rep informed the customer of all of this and that he in fact entered the wrong address so he would be responsible for the reconsignment fee.
That was the last time we heard anything about this order so we assumed that the customer accepted responsibility for the mistake and would pay the fee, which is usually the case when this occurs.
Beaver re-consigns shipments at least once a month due to the customer entering the wrong ship to address when ordering. The customer will then go ahead and pay the reconsignment fee without any issues.Review from Richard R

Order from them. No worries. My tool that was back ordered 2 months everywhere came to my door in 2 days. Im blown away. The price for Festool was cheaper too. Will use them for all my woodworking purchasesReview from Clint B

0 stars if i could. Terrible customer service. Stay away from this company. I bought a track saw from them and piece was missing and long track I ordered was damaged. They wouldn't send me another or pay shipping to send it back to them for refund. I had to pay over $200 on shipping to me and to ship back. Will NEVER use this company againReview from Rose S

DO NOT BUY FROM BEAVER TOOLS.I placed a series of orders for a Festool track saw and a set of guide rails. In total, the order amounted to $1300.The track saw and one set of guide rails did not ship within a month after purchase, with no feedback from the seller. After a series of customer support calls it finally shipped, but the order was incomplete. I have been back and forth, via email and customer service phone line, almost a dozen times to no avail. They hang up, keep me hanging on the line, don't respond to emails, say it's my fault and I need to call **** etc.Customer service has said I submitted the order wrong (incorrect). They said I changed my information online (also incorrect, considering I cannot log into my account). They said my neighbors took the missing items (also incorrect, because the package was sent to the entirely wrong side of the state according to ***** Even *** disputed their behavior, so I had to get my credit card company involved. Finally, after two months of back and forth, I have my money back.Beaver Tools is a complete scam. Do not purchase from them!!!Beaver Industrial Supply, Inc. Response

We have been doing business for over 25 years; we certainly aren't a scam. The first concern with a longer lead time comes from manufacturer delays still brought on by supply chain challenges. We dynamically list the availability on each product page to communicate that to customers. After going back and reviewing the communication, there was miscommunication on what the issue actually was, but once we figured it out, we did send a replacement rail right away to make it right. It doesn't happen often, but in advocating for the customer with the different vendors involved, it does take some time to understand the root of the issue and get it resolved. We hate that there was miscommunication and a resolution wasn't presented quicker; that's not how we usually do business.Customer Response

When a product is "dynamically listed" as available but takes weeks and your customer service blames it on me typing the wrong address (which was not the case as the receipt proves) it is highly unprofessional.When a company has a string of bad reviews for the similar reasons, does not communicate, requires a string of phone calls to ship a product, or does not do what you say you will do, you're a scam.And, like every textbook scam, blame is placed elsewhere such as "the supply chain".I've been in communication with festool about this situation, as they happen to be a real company and don't seem to be keen on having their name associated with these practices.Review from Mary A

I did not have a good experience with this company. I ordered and received a band saw--after many delays in shipping--I did finally receive it. I used the saw for about one hour and realized it would not work for my application. I called and asked to return it. I was told they only returns they accept are for item that are damaged during shipment. So, in effect, if you buy something from them and later decide to return it because the item isn't working how you thought it would, too bad so sad. They will not accept any returns! We hate to hear that you didn't have a good experience. Every business does things a little different according to their own terms and conditions, in which you agree to at the time of purchase. We always recommend that you read them in detail and understand the return policies in place. We do everything that we can to make them as transparent as possible. At the end of the day, we can't be responsible for customers ordering the wrong products.
