Ive asked this business to remove me from their email list multiple times. On 4/24 I told them I would report them if they continued. They said I would be removed. Now 5/4 and I received another solicitation email. Its illegal to continue when youve asked for communication to stop. Its harassment.

June 2022, I reached out to Golden Oak lending for a VA loan since I am a veteran and first time home buyer. Golden Oak had gotten my request for the loan pre-approved. After finding a home to purchase, Golden Oaks MISSES loan commitment even with the effort between three of us me, my wife and my representing realtor consistently calling with no answer, a call back or even a message back (im talking days here). Golden Oaks (finally) makes contact with my realtor and simply states "I couldnt get it that day" That in itself should of been a giant red flag but we decided to stay the course being as which everything else seemed solid because we was "reassured" by Golden Oak telling us they could still make it work instead of just saying they couldn't and acquiring a mutual release.... August 2022, three days from closing Golden Oak Lending falls threw with the loan for it did not qualify for a VA Loan being a Manufactured home. Mined you we are almost three months into this transaction and Golden Oak misses a BASIC requirement for a VA loan, that took me a few seconds with a smart phone to verify. I lost the contract on the home for my family, my ******* money vanished and so did Golden Oak. The Vice President at the time, contacted and had told me they "had no idea" it was a Manufactured home. Golden Oaks either does not actually pay any attention to GIANT details like an address, pictures, there very own paperwork or they are flat out LIARS. I'm going to put my money (that I don't have now) on that they are liars... Golden Oaks Lending at ************************************************************************ are negligent, incompetent and last but certainly not least LIARS. Golden Oak lending's word cannot be trusted, nor should they be trusted with lending or any of your business. DO NOT go to Golden Oak Lending you will regret that decision, for that establishment should be closed and possibly prosecuted, do not waist your time and hard earned money at Golden Oak Lending.

The timeline of events occured starting with the first call from the customer on June 18th through the day we received the appraisal, notifying us for the first time that the property was a manfactured home, which was on July 22nd.  The loan was unfortunately declined on the next business day, July 25th, due to the property type not being permitted on the program for which the borrower applied...approximately 37 days after initial contact.  At no time did we collect any funds from the consumer, so a refund would not be applicable in this instance; however, in the interest of customer service, we have agreed to reimburse the consumer for a portion of the ******* money that was forfieted.

Golden Oaks Lending sends me weekly mail displaying my PII on the envelop pretending to be from my actual mortgage lender. They provide no way to contact them to request the stop of this PII revealing junk mail. They are trying to scam people out of their mortgages and they need to be stopped or told to stop this predatory mailing that risks people getting their identity stolen or taken advantage of by falling for their predatory "lending". They advertise it as being "a big cash out" or "lower monthly payments", when in fact the home owner will loose out in the end. Their "disclosures" in the mailing seem barely legal for all that they are "promising". I worry that they are sharing my information with other scammy organizations and I want them to stop mailing me and remove my loan information, name, and address from their database.

We have received your letter regarding the above reference complaint.  The letters we mail out only contain public and non-private information that *** be obtained from public records at the county recorders office.  In fact, our advertisements never include personal identifiable information that could not be obtained from pubicly available sources.  Per the request of the consumer, we have removed their information from our database.

I have opted out of mail soliciting for life and more than three months ago. I have returned mail to sender and asked them to stop wasting trees for what I see as fraudulent advertisement! We do not want or need any loan from Golden Oak Lending especially after the way they solicit their "rather conspicuously" information! They send letter showing in the top left corner Re: ******* ***** ****, Date: April 27, 2022 PIN#******-****** and my name and address. This looks like a letter from our lender except for the PIN which most people do not know or realize , so they open it. Upon opening the letter we can then see Golden Oak Lending statement as they said in a response "rather conspicuously" is not associated with or acting on behalf of your current lender. Yet , their opening statement on the front of the letter has the name of our lender and not their company name!? We DO NOT WANT ANYMORE SKETCHY MAIL SOLICITATIONS FROM GOLDEN OAK LENDING! DO NOT CALL, DO NOT EMAIL AND DO NOT MAIL AND WASTE ANYMORE TREES TO OUR ADDRESS! Again, Golden Oak Lending does NOT make it very clear to the consumer that the letter is from Golden Globe until the envelope is opened!

I received unsolicited mail from Golden Oak Lending to my home mailing address. I don't recall signing up to receive mail from this company. I already used the website "https://www.optoutprescreen.com/?rf=t" to permanently opt-out of firms' offers of credit or insurance. There was no information to opt-out of this junk mail in the mail itself and I did my research online and I could not find a way to opt-out of receiving mail from this lender. Thank you in advance for looking into this matter. I greatly appreciate your help.
