Two months ago, I purchased a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ from this company. I paid $1700 down. When I was purchasing the car, I asked if the engine and transmission were good and they told me yes. I saw them install the engine. A month later, the car started smoking from the tailpipe really bad. I took it to Meineke and they told me the rings in the motor are going bad and I need a new engine. I told ECars and they told me I had to have the motor replaced on my own. Meineke told me the motor had to be bad when the motor was installed. They also sold the car without the inspections. He told me he would reimburse me for the inspections but the check engine light has been on the whole time. The coolant gauge was not working, so I couldn't tell my car was overheating.
