We hired this husband and wife duo to come rip out an old shower and put in a new one. They gave us a quote and a date with no problems. Then they told us that they cannot work with another crew at the house. (Crew was working in the garage and was hispanic) and they stated that it was because they were afraid their tools would get stolen. So they made us take another day off work. Then they told us the quote was wrong and they needed an extra 130 dollars to move a pipe or they would walk off site after they ripped out the old shower. So we were forced to pay them or the bathroom would be ripped apart. They finished the job but not before making racist remarks about Indian and Hispanic people. The quality of the job was AWFUL and now that we tried out the shower, it has caused a SEVERE leak into our basement bathroom that we are going to have to hire a restoration company to fix. They did awful work and caused severe leaking into our houses structure and we want a full refund. This was the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. When you give us a call we will gladly go over our "contract" with you guys. But the damage is apparent. I want a full refund and for them to pay for the damages that were caused by their blatant misunderstanding of how plumbing works. I can NOT believe this. I do not want them working on our house again. If I do not receive full reimbursement plus cost of repairs we will be taking them to court and suing the whole company.

***** ********* had contracted Copperhead Renovations, LLC to demo and install a new Bathtub /Shower Wall
Kit on Dec. 1, 2021. We began the project on Dec. 16, 2021 and completed the job on Dec 17, 2021.
The first day 12/15/21 we showed up to start the project ***** had several other contractors there working on site
and with many vehicles parked in his drive, yard and on the street. The garage content was in the driveway there
was no access point into the house. We had no notifications that other contractors would be there. There was no
where for us to park or set up our tools or job supplies. The nearest parking was a block away and we could not
carry job supplies and tools that far to the site. We rescheduled the installation for 12/16/21 in timely manner. On
Dec 16, 2021 when checking for the main shut off valve and the existing plumbing ***** had an existing leak at
the main shut off valve in the basement. Copperhead videoed all this prior to starting the bathroom project upstairs.
Homeowner was made aware of the main shut off valve leak.
On Dec 16, 2021 we go to the job site to demo and install a new bath/shower wall kit. Upon demo we saw the
existing plumbing lines for the shower head and water valves was not in the proper location. To continue the
install the waterlines had to be relocated to accommodate the new Shower/Tub wall unit. This issue could not be
foreseen until the existing unit was removed. The homeowner was home and was shown in the bathroom what the
issue was and he agreed the waterlines to be relocated. Copperhead documented the changes made and
homeowner was charged $135 for labor and plumbing supplies. Pictures were taken of the before plumbing lines
and the plumbing lines after the relocation.
Immediately after the job was completed on 12/17/2021 and we left the premises we received a text from *****
stating the reasons he was going to give us a 2 star review, then he follows up with another message demanded
financial compensation for a 4 star review.
While Copperhead crew was in the last hour in completing the project, the homeowner expressed to Copperhead
that he was not paying them in full because of the unforeseen issues with the water lines and valve after the water
lines had been relocated. The homeowner refused to pay Copperhead in full by contractual agreement and voided
      our warranty clause.
On Dec 20, 2021 our office received a call that the bath/shower drain was leaking. Our assistant told ***** that
Copperhead (****), was out of town for Christmas until Dec. 26, 2021 and would take care of the issue soon as
12/27/21 first availability after Christmas. Copperhead requested on 12/20/2021 at 10:36 AM for the homeowner
not to use the shower until 12/27/21 and to use the other two bathrooms on property. At 12;54 PM he posted a
video of the leak after running the water for an excessive amount of time. Copperhead messaged *****, and
informed Copperhead not to come back out his house and he had turned the leak into his homeowners insurance
      company.
Upon completion he gave us a check #*** for $2000.00. ***** failed to pay us in full. ***** had stopped
payment on the check #*** he paid us on Dec 17, 2021 upon completion. On December 27, 2021, ***** was sent
a 10 day demand letter to pay the amount in full. Enclosed are the copies of the demand letter and copy of his
      payment.
No racial comments were made to anyone, Copperhead had a crew of two people there which both of us can be a
witness to. We are professionals. I have been in this business for over 20 years. Further more they have published
false reviews and have had their friends make false reviews on our social media and the people leaving the review
has never had any interactions with our company.
I am currently talking to an attorney for defamation of character, extortion, and sending them a 10 day demand
letter to remove all the false statements from our website and other social media. We request the BBB remove
such reviews stating false claims and false claims of racial prejudice.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at ****************************** ** *************
      Kindest Regards,
      **** ******
