We did the 4 week board and train with our GSD and did NOT get what we paid for. After reviewing the website, reaching out to the owner and having some of our questions answered we signed up for training. We expected to have the training with the owner and it wasn't until we dropped our dog off did we get informed that we would instead be paired with another trainer, ***** When we took our dog to them she went with an understanding of "sit", "off" and a basic concept of "down". We were expecting her to be taught basic obedience with emphasis towards stair/door etiquette. We were told to text the trainer what we wanted our dog to be trained in, which seemed odd to us, but we did it. We a few times communicated with the trainer about our dog who told us our dog was great with her 3 kids and is somewhat shy. Got told she had gotten a *** while being there and generally seemed to be hanging out and only worked on walking on a leash. In regards to the *** we were contacted on a Friday afternoon and tried coordinating with the trainer and our vet to get our dog treated and the vet said we or the trainer just needed to bring her or a sample of urine in, to which the trainer said she had to go get her kids from school and that the owner had meds for *** they can give our dog. We felt that we didn't have a choice in the matter and agreed to the meds without proper vet diagnosis. At pick up the owner and trainer both talked to me, before even seeing my dog, I felt like I was in principals office and my kid got in trouble. After ***** minutes of them talking to me about how **** trained my dog and now she loves walks and gets excited when the ***** comes out they finally let my dog out of the van and then loaded her in my vehicle with all her stuff. No demonstration of what she learned and was trained, just a comment that 2 follow up sessions were included with the cost of training and best to do sooner rather than later. Was told when I tried to pick her up the day prior
