I registered my sons (7th and 5th grade) for OFL youth football. We have had an impromptu end to our season. My 7th grader's team only played 2.5 games, however the league president ****** we have a 2-2 record. The game that ended shortly after halftime ended because the official's called players on our team a racist slur. The police officer who intervened at the game abruptly ended it due to the official's behavior. This was counted as a forfeit for our team. Our team was never provided any details on how this incident was to be handled. My 5th graders team was supposed to play Thursday, 4/25, however the President cancelled the games on Wednesday 4/24 and moved our game to *********** on Friday, 4/26. Our team was forced to forfeit due to the late notice and coach/player conflicts. I personally reached out to ***********************, League President, and I was told that if we had raised more cookie dough sales for the league fundraiser we would not be in our current situation. I also want to note that other teams with a 2-2 record have moved on to play offs. It is no secret that *********************** does not like the Chiefs Team or coaches. He has told other parents that his expenses for the year were $96,000 and he has only made $92,000 which is why we can no longer play and that cookie dough sales were a flop. We should have never been promised games if he couldn't make it happen. Our kids are upset and have worked very hard to have no results. I have examples of threatening and aggressive emails that have been sent to parents that I would be happy to submit. Not only would I and the other parents appreciate an refund, but also want to prevent him from robbing other families in the future. Other complaints: field conditions, poor treatment of players, lack of communication

First, I am attaching documents of agreement by the complainant and her followers. They are statements of agreement and outlining how we operate. The first, Gametime clearly states No one is guaranteed playing time in a game. There are no guaranteed number of games. This is because we are a teaching league. The practices are primary, the games are secondary. The second attachment is actually a copy of the signed agreement, regarding refunds. I doubt very much if the complainant read any of the required documents. The reason they did not get more games is because of their entitled ***** attitude. One game was not cancelled by the league, it was forfeited by the parents because, and I am quoting here, the game was an inconvenience because they would have to travel to another town, which travels weekly to ***********.

No law enforcement has ever called a game off. The game in question was called off by a referee, whom has that right if the parents are getting out of hand, which they were. No official ever called a player a racist slur. That is a lie. I never cancelled any game because a team did not sell cookie dough. Kids are told at the beginning of season they can earn money selling cookie dough in our fundraiser and a large number do. I will not even address your complainants accusation of not liking her team. Again, ridiculous.

I have never discussed expenditures or income with any parent. Accusing me of robbing families is totally false and without merit. I started this league 20 years ago and I continue to run it WITHOUT PAY! There are parents each year who dont and will never appreciate a service you do for the kids and in the end, make it about their own selfish needs. If these ignorant parents want to be educated on some Missouri statutes, they can look up, statute ******. It bans harassment of sports officials.

I paid $300 for three children to play football for the Ozark Football League. My children have only been able to play three games but we were promised 7 games. It has been poorly managed and we were not even able to use football facilities. Game schedules keep changing and our lives were threatened during games due to no security. I will take this complaint to court if not resolved.
