I moved into a new home built by Cronkhite Homes in April 2022. Within the first week, I discovered the grading in the backyard had not been completed correctly, causing a creek to run through my yard, as well as the yards on both sides of me. I immediately contacted the warranty department and their representative agreed it was a problem. He indicated they would file new permits and get heavy equipment in there to fix the grading. I was in regular contact with their representative from April through August when that person finally said they were not going to fix the problem and would only fill in the dirt that had been washed away. Of course, any new dirt would be washed away in the next rain. I left a phone message for the owner on August 18, who never called me back. Yesterday, I sent a packet containing a record of all contacts and pictures of the damage, as well as bids I received to fix the issue. Pictures from May 4 of the "creek" are attached. I have additional pictures from later showing the problem persists.Additionally, on July 18 I sent in a list of issues having to do with the house that are covered under warranty. I have not received a response indicating when those issues might be fixed.Business response

We reached out to the consumer to address this complaint. We assigned this complaint to our representative that contacted the consumer and resolved all area of concern.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference tocomplaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.They have had a change in personnel and are much more responsive. Only one item currently on the list has not been completed and it is scheduled for tomorrow. Thank you Cronkhite Homes. I feel part of the community once again.
