Just this week I purchased a used vehicle. While it was a mostly great experience, it took far too long for me. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, just too long of a process. Kudos to each team member I had had contact with on my visit.My main complaint is only received one key for the vehicle. When I inquired about it I was told there was only one. It had one previous owner.The dealership has the ability to make another key. I think the right thing should have been done with a second key given.I was quoted a price of $399.00 for the key and another $100.00 to have it programmed!! Thats just ridiculous. If I had lost the key then yes, that would be on me, but to not provide a second key is just not right. I asked for the owners contact and was told hes a busy guy. Id think customer service would be important to him. So this has definitely left me thinking its more about sales and not doing the right thing for the customer. This was my first time being a customer with this dealership.Id have given a 5 star if I was taken care of with a second key. Yes, its that big of a deal to me.Review from Mike D

Never called me about getting my 2017 Jeep Compass Latitude in with constant trouble I had with it since buying it Oct 27, 2020 since I talked to them Feb 2022 due to short on vehicles to loan and would be a month, I told **** 2 weeks after buying it that the start stop battery wasn't working, he said oh it needs to charge, well that battery went out off and on 3 more times until Apr 2023 where its been dead ever since, so it was bad to begin with. Now the MAIN battery going bad in less than 3 yrs Sept 8, 2023 it died and had to Jumpstart it. *** told me they put a NEW ONE in Oct 8th 2020 when I was buying it on Oct 27, 2020. Had that Jeep in I don't know how many times for problems with backup camera, sound wouldn't stop, blank screen, they should have taken it back, and now (from Sept 2022 to now Oct 2023 living in **** now) is headlight out, daytime running light out, then all headlights out after **** replaced while driving at night, then headlight out again had to get whole headlight kit, then batt going dead as of Oct 18, 2023 parked. Talked to ***** who says he put battery in and said oh warranty is only good for 2 yrs, also no receipt/ticket on batt put in is fishy to me. They last 5 to 8 yrs. He tried to tell me its because of all the electrical stuff hooked to it nowadays and don't last long, My brother leases vehicles and he leased a ******************************************** 2017, he had ZERO problems and after his 36 months still no problems before trading for new again.Your supposed to disclose everything about a vehicle your selling. They need to have *********** in ********* **** call me to change the battery out for me for nothing not paying $500.00 on the main batt and labor after paying $19,000 on the vehicle I bought when there shouldn't be anything wrong with it. Beware what you're buying, lucky warranty I bought paid for everything except daytime running lamp thats out and battery, I'm done with Corwin, I don't recommend them, go elsewhereReview from Phillip S

Dealership trying obtain my credit score without permission. I had already had a check from my bank with the agreed purchased amount. They were just trying to get my credit. I asked why did they need my SSN, my pay history and they just lied to me.Corwin Dodge Jeep Ram of Springfield Response

*******. we appreciate your feedback. As we explained before, the salesperson was new and thought he had to get your credit information to process the deal, cash or finance. After visiting with a manager, he realized he was making a mistake and did not pursue it further. Your situation made us realize that some additional training was needed and we used used it as a teaching moment. We never ran your credit nor did we intend to run your credit, but we do apologize for the inconvenience and misunderstanding. My wife and I drove to this dealership to look at a Jeep. ******* was the salesman helping us. When we werent comfortable with the payment and rates he presented we decided to leave. As we were walking out of the dealership, he proceeded to follow us outside and yell fxxxing waste of my time at us as we walked away. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he refused to tell me who his boss was. I located a manager on my own and informed them what was going on. ******* continued to cuss in a lobby filled with customers calling me a ***** and had to be escorted out of the lobby by a manager. Needless to say, wont ever return to this dealership. ******* lived up to his name. Cocky, arrogant, and prone to sudden outbursts.Review from Tom R.

Went online to schedule service. Needed replacement key fob, with programming.Made appointment, left brief explanation of service need. This was done four days ago.received confirmation of my appointment for this 5/18/22 at 8:15am. Was sent confirmation e mail with address on west sunshine. Went there, and location is closed. So I drove through town, during rush hour, to find business had moved. Had to goggle new location. Drove there, which is on other side of town. Was late for appointment. Told them of address issue, showed them the email with incorrect address. I asked when they moved and was told last October! I asked why not changed email template, and got usual answer, "we will look into it".Then when confirming my reason for being there, he said we would need to check to see if replacement fob available. Sat down at his desk, he calls parts, and find out they have to order it. Will take a week. I asked service representative if anyone checks service requests to make sure things go smoothly, reasonable idea if everything is available to complete the job. Therefore, not a waste of their, or my time. He said not usually. My service request was straightforward, fully explained in preparation for visit. I expected to have work done at that time. Totally frustrated and left. Would NOT recommend this dealership for service, **************** was second rate at best. The incorrect address on service email responses just poor business practice, and suggests little care for customer. The fact it has not changed in 7 months emphasizes this. Would therefore suggest looking for other dealership if interested in the products offered. *** *
