      rest easy is a corporation consisting of 6 houses for the purpose of well and dock maintenance only. it is NOT an HOA. it is a for profit corporation. a new board of officers was elected at the end of march 2022 which since that time this corporation has harrassed, threatened, bullied. intimidated and attempted to extort money out of 2 of the 6 houses involved in this corporation. we have numerous emails with these threats including a threat to kill one of us or beat us til we spend 6 months in the hospital by friends of one of these owners. there is a current ex parte in an attempt to protect ourselves. we have paid our real estate and personal property taxes with receipts obtained but at this time the rest easy president is attempting to place a lien on our house calling us liars regarding the tax payment. we need assistance in protecting ourselves from this corporation and their tactics. we have consulted a lawyer also.

      This is just another outlet **** ***** is attempting to use to defame the Rest Easy Neighborhood Well and Dock Assoc. that her husband used to be the Vice-President of. *** ***** and the former President resigned their positions and it has been one accusation ather the other from **** ***** **** ***** is correct that she has a restraining order against one of our 73 year old homeowners' who is suffering from very serious health issues. The only reason it was granted is because the homeowner did not realize the court date was set while she was in Scotland providing care for her 96 year old mother. *** ***** has failed to mention that a case was brought against her and she too has a temporary restraining order now against her from the same homeowner.There is a pending trial. **** ***** mentions that they have paid THEIR personal property and real estate taxes. Their personal homes and property taxes are NOT my concern. **** ***** went and filed this complaint the day after I told her she was less than honest about paying their share of the JOINTLY owned LOT and DOCK taxes. Those are the ONLY taxes the Association has interest in. The ****** have not paid their yearly assessment since Sept of 2021. That yearly fee pays the electric bills that operate the electric pump that provides water to our homes and electricity to our community dock.It also pays toward their equal share of  property and real estate taxes and CPA fees for the 6 homes. She has been told that I do plan to file an Assessment Lien against them for non payment of their assessment. They were sent a certified letter to pay their fees or make a payment plan within 15 days of receipt of the letter, after they failed to pay in September of the current year. . She was also told that per the Camden County Recorder of Deeds Book 733 page 793 that she and her husband must pay their share of the electricity, or they are to be disconnected from the water service, which she knows  we cannot do because of the way the well was designed. Therefore, they are enjoying use of the water and dock without paying any of the fees associated with  those systems operating, while 5 other homeowners all paid their fees. She claimed to have paid their portion of taxes to which I immediately went online and sent her the screenshot of the Associations taxes, showing that they had not paid anything towards them, because the full amount of taxes were still due and there were no records showing any payments had been made. She is deliberately trying to allude that I said she did not pay THEIR  property taxes which she knows is NOT what was said at all. Her husband called and woke me at 5:15 a.m on 11/28/2022 to advise that the water was off again, I had to call an electrician/plumber in to examine the well house and have breakers replaced and still,they have not paid their share of that cost, which was only $34.00. They are however, still enjoying water that they have not contributed to and are telling me to discuss with their attorney which they have AGAIN not provided any attorney information. **** ***** leaves email after email advising us not to contact her to send all correspondence through their attorney, which they have never provided an attorney name and when I asked for it multiple times. I was told she wasn't giving it to me and that her attorney said  "they" would not talk to me. The ****** and the former President have now sent emails saying that our bylaws, of which they wrote the majority of in their tenancy in 2017, are now not enforceable now that they are no longer the President and Vice President,but they were during their tenure as President and Vice President. I have repeatedly invited them to my personal home to discuss a way to come to a peaceful resolution for the neighborhood. **** ***** has no interest in this and instead goes to Facebook to post emails and all the names of the homeowners and my personal address. She tells people they have a gun and aren't afraid to use it. None of us have EVER threatened them with a gun. She calls our members really vulgar names, constantly makes derogatory political comments and accusations against all of us. I have NEVER met **** ***** in the 2.5 years that I have been here but I am one of her favorite targets. I refused to email  copies of our personal checks because I am an Identity Theft Rep for a government entity and I said it wasn't safe and 4 out of the 6 homeowners agreed, however, I did offer to print and provide them copies personally and I reminded them that per the by-laws that they could review ALL documents during normal business hours. I have even sent  copies of the Associations information by certified mail but they refuse it. Her representation of our Neighborhood Association is false and she is using it to try and avoid having to pay their assessment that they have ignored for over 15 months now, while four of the other owners now have to cover for the shortages that their refusal to pay their share has created. The ****** say they want no contact. I have repeatedly told them that all they have to do is pay their assessments, contribute towards expenses that arise from the dock and well house and come to meetings (which they refuse to come to). I can provide the emails from Dec 1, 2022 that I sent to **** ***** and I advised her I believed her to be less than honest about paying their share of taxes and I  sent her proof she was being dishonest about them paying their portion of the taxes already. I told her I was going to file the Assessment Lien and that she had until it was filed to pay the $320.00, of which I am sure it would be much cheaper and simpler to pay rather than hiring an attorney (they say they have one but have never provided any information) and not only will they then be responsible for paying their attorney, but they will be responsible for the yearly assessment and the cost of our attorney writing up the assessment lien. I have tried repeatedly to fix issues that appear to have been going on since before I moved here in 2020. It has been to no avail. It is my belief and the belief of the current board members that this is just another ploy to cause frustration and avoid a responsibility that they as the former Vice President put into effect  and I would appreciate it very much if they would just pay their share and leave everyone else alone and just be cordial. We don;t have to like each other, but respect and a peaceful co-existence would be much appreciated. Constantly having to defend myself or this Association is very tiresome and takes time out of my and my board;s lives and living situation that we have all worked very hard to provide ourselves with.
