i had coastal electric and plumbing out to fix an outside faucet on April 12, 2022. The man named **** called me and said he had lost the check I wrote and would I write another one. I trusted him and said I would, he cashed that one, 2nd check i wrote April 15, 2022. I get my statement today for May from my credit union and he cashes the 1st check on May 02, 2022. So he has cashed 2 checks for 375.00 each, he lied when he said he lost my first check. I tried to call the company but they don't answer the phone, I left a message but no call back. I want the one check that was cashed back to me , that is 375.00 . Thank youInitial Complaint

****** * ***** owner of Coastal Electric and Plumbing from Hazelhurst Mississippi quoted a price of $2,600.00 to fix my sister’s well with a new pump and tank on 1/18/2022. He came out and requested a down payment of $2,000 to purchase the pump. 7 days later he came back and installed the pump and requested the $600 labor. He then left and went to the bank and cashed that check. That afternoon she realized that the water had not filled the tank and no water was running in the house. He quit answering his phone and would not return messages. No water now for 6 weeks. He is not licensed in Mississippi to work on wells. Found out pump he used was not strong enough for well and he dropped a broken pipe down the well. It will cost $875 just to get the pipe out plus another new pump, parts and labor which will cost total $2,942.50. My sister is 84 years old and lives alone in a trailer in the country. ****** ******** **** ** *** * ******* ** ***** **** *** *** ****** ** ***** ** ****** *** * ****** ** ************ **** ****.
