I opened a Planet Fitness gym membership 03/15/2023. I visited the gym and did not see anything that I wanted to work on. I then cancelled my membership 03/16/2023, but Planet Fitness has made it hard to cancel the membership. I went into the newly opened location, ************************************************, *********, **, *****. They have not cancelled my membership, are still trying to charge me causing my banking account to accrue fees, there is no customer service number to speak with anyone. I want this membership cancelled and my fees reversed!Business response

*********************************** joined the location on 3/15/2023.******************** is requesting the Account to be cancelled.This has been completed as of 8/10/2023. There is no cancellation on file for ******************** prior to us Cancelling the account on 8/10/2023 as requested.******************** has also requested a refund of payments from March- AugustThe Membership attempted to draft payments due to the membership being active from March- August. Payments came back to us as declined and were not paid to the business. We were showing all payments from March- August as Past due, these have since been removed from the membership. No payments were processed out of the account on file and paid; therefore no refunded amount is available to be returned.******************* has stated no customer service line is available.The locations Manager has spoken with *****************. Our phone number is ************** and any one of our team members would be happy to speak with ******************* further.Account is now cancelled.Thank You,Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
My cancellation request was not entered in adequate timing therefore causing me fees with my bank. Also, Planet Fitness has a cancellation policy in place that was not followed by the manager of the branch. I would also like a refund on any/ all payments that were made to your company. A letter stating that Planet Fitness simply did not adequately enter my cancellation in time will be sufficient for my bank or I will hold Planet Fitness responsible.
