I've call Entergy 100 times Thursday the 17th supposed to be my cut on day then it was changed to Friday the 18th still no one has came to install my meter now I got to wait til Monday which is the 21st to call back this is not business at allBusiness response

I’m building a house and we have a construction meter with Entergy of Mississippi. In November 2021 we received a bill that said we used 2000 kw and charged me for it. That usage is incorrect. I have videos and pictures to prove it. Even after numerous calls to Entergy speaking with a supervisor and a manager that said they would get the issue resolved. Now it’s March four months later and they are continuing to charge me for that amount and are threatening disconnection if I do not pay. I do not owe that amount and feel I should not have to call 2 twice a month since November to make this issue go away. Every time I call they blame the billing department and how far behind they are. I feel as if I’ve given them ample time to resolve this.Business response

My first complaint to Entergy was sept 28, 2021 My Utility bill (********)starting increasing in May $679.40,June $427.90,July $531.00Aug$632.25 Sept$1,369.50,Oct$1,508.50 Nov $1,469.95,Dec$1,561.58and recent received Jan $1,561.58. I have call Entergy numerous of time trying resolve my bill because of billing errors. I have ask several time why my bill is so high no answer but customer rep said it corrected. This can’t be correct I live in a house. No one seem to care at Entergy about my bill. I afraid my light with get disconnected for nonpayment for month of January. My families and friends can no longer help me and I don’t qualify for assistance. I just want my bill resolved.Business response

On this day December 8th 2021 I was told that I'm going to be responsible for my mother's bill her name is ******* ****** reside at this address but she is now deceased I was told I would have to pay the bill in order to get lights on here when I did not live here I don't feel like that's very fair to me then she tells me that because it has been lights on in the house more than 30 days after she passed that I am responsible I mean I don't understand this how am I to know that.i wasn't thinking about this also in the mist of everything my sister is very sick so I have been in Tennessee ive only been in Natchez Mississippi about 2 days now and so if I cannot get the lights on in my name or at this address to pay the bill and which I don't have any money I will be homeless and I have a heart condition which is an enlarged heart with 20% of my heart working and I will be homeless in the street and I probably will die please can u help meBusiness response

Entergy's Verifications Department has did the appropriated research to required the location balance. The new customer has been quoted 511.30 , which is half, and the account can be turned on. The remainder can be set up on a payment plan.
This is the Entergy's final decision.
