Republic services have been increasing cost steadily from the first year of the agreed upon 3 year contract. When I called to cancel I was told it had automatically renewed for an additional 3 years. We did not receive notice of the renewal as required by North Carolina statute *****, nor have we ever been informed of each of the price increases. I have reached out to the representative for our area as well as her manager and we are now being told to cancel we must pay around $3,000 or we can sign a new 1 year contract. This business practice is unfair to the consumer.Business response

My name is ***********************. I'm the sales manager here at our Asheville hauling company. I'm reviewing your claims with our local team. There should be a notice on the month prior to the price increase stating that your next month's invoice may reflect a PI. As it relates to the rollover, we abide by the terms of our standard Service Agreement. We work to be the service provider of choice in the Asheville area. We will be reaching out to you soon to work through this problem with you. We greatly appreciate your business and we hope you will allow us to earn your continued patronage.
