AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!-Here's my story on 8/15/2024 I took my *** in for service it was leaking coolant. Well they did an estimate and charged me $2400.00 for repairs ok I paid them that and took the car home and that evening I went to the grocery store and when I came out I noticed liquid on the ground when I went to get in the car. Well I went home and next day the coolant light came on and I checked and it was empty now mind you this was not even 24hrs later. I called Woodies and they said bring the car back and I took it in then he calls me and said a hose was leaking and wanted another $900.00 which I told them WHY didn't they check this to begin with since my vehicle was brought in for leaking coolant. They refused to repair the car unless I paid them the $900.00 This is OUTRAGEOUS and I wish to file a complaint with this AWFUL business.Review from Da R

Maybe it's called Woodies cause you get stiffed so hard. Only go if you like it raw with no lube. Started off that my brakes on my 2004 ***** Pilot went out and called Woodies and asked about their towing the website says they offer, they say they don't offer one and I'd have to pay but they recommend this company, ask how much the diagnostic is and she said she doesn't know. Call the company to get my car towed to Woodies and they say oh you don't pay us we have a contract with them. Get the diagnostic done, mine was ******, the total for brakes, rotors, tires and a caliper was ********. That's also not including the diagnostic which is ON TOP of work you have done, never paid for a diagnostic when I get work done with someone only if I choose not to get the work done through them, at the time they called for the diagnostic results and gave me the price I said that was a lot and I was going to need to save up a few checks to get it done and I asked if the car was okay to be there. The guy that I was talking to said let me ask my manager, and says that it can stay there I just need to keep them up to date. I tell him I get payed every 2 weeks and it will most likely be 2 months at least till I save up enough. He said that's fine. I asked if I needed to come in every 2 weeks and make deposits and he said it's not necessary. I get a text 5 days later asking when I plan to get the repairs done and that I could apply for koalifi. I text back again that I've already talked to someone and told them it was going to be a few checks till I could afford it. 2 days later get a text saying that I need to come by and pay the diagnostic so they can close my ticket. Was planning to that weekend but between working ***** most days it's hard to get off work at the animal hospital I work at because I always have to stay late. I get a text yesterday threatening me that I need to have my car picked up by the end of the day today or they will be applying for a title lean on my car.Review from Rick O

I took my 2011 ***** XC-90 to Woodies in May 2024 to check why the engine light was on. They told me I needed 2 new catalytic converters which I trusted them since I had been going there for 7 years. About 6 months later I saw a neighborhood app customer complaint on them how they were ripped off. I went back through my past invoices on my car repairs and saw that Meineke in *********, ** had replaced one of the catalytic converters two years prior. I went to ******* a few days ago to get a state inspection which failed due to a catalytic converter. I took the car back to Woodies since it was under warranty and they did a diagnostic test and told me it was a separate item that attaches to the converter that was causing the engine light to stay on. **** said he took the part off the converter from the one he replaced in May. The diagnostic charge was $130.00 for something they replaced 2 months ago in May 2024. As with 90 percent of the time I took the car in over the past 7 years they always tell me I need to change this and that and it will cost $1, 000 to *****. I would usually take their advice until I read the neighborhood app complaint on them. As expected Woodies told me I needed ***** of more repairs. I said no this time and I will never go there again and will put this on our neighborhood app. My name is *********************** and I would not go to Woodies again.Review from Chris T

I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. I was told I needed new brakes (front and back) and that car was not safe to drive. I had brakes replaced 6 months ago at another shop. I took the car back to the shop that did the brakes and they confirmed that brakes had only worn 30%. When I called the manager at Woodies on ****** to relay this information he said they did not do a detailed check. Offered a free oil change but I would prefer to stay away as this place is clearly looking for work at customers expense.Review from Donna M

Lord have mercy! I have never ever seen such unprofessionalism and the lack of accountability! My niece who 23 y.o took her jeep there to have it serviced because her check engine light came on. I don't know how this came about to having to put in a new engine! They quoted her roughly 10K give or take. In shock to say the least! So we asked the mechanic to PUT the car back together. Have it running like it did when she took it in, she had the vehicle towed to another garage. *** and behold thank God, he videoed it when it came off the tow truck! He opened the hood and parts of the car was missing, (bolts and other pieces) no antifreeze in the car and not everything was hooked/put back together and Woodie's said it was safe for her to drive it, I don't know about you but they definitely took advantage of this situation. Oh the mechanic she took it to diagnosed it to be 2 cam sensors $62. a piece and labor total for his portion was less then $400 now this mechanic charged her for putting the car back together and add the missing parts that weren't hooked up. A total of 8 hours and it cost her over $800 that Woodies mechanic didn't know how to put it back together. I tried to have them do the right thing and pay for that but after speaking to ****, he stated that he wasn't sure who made the decision to decline payment and that they did no wrong. I asked what his area manager name was he said *****. However, if you ask me I don't think he even said anything to his area manager. When I called earlier that day and ***** answered the phone. He refused to give me his area manager's last name. Why? What are you hiding? If you did no wrong than all this information to me made public to the customer to resolve an issue he obviously was no capable of handling. I sent proof of the bill and the video to him.Review from Matt K

Lack of professionalism. Car was damage in their shop and they did not want to take responsibility lack of follow up, charged me for state inspection that was not done. Wait for my car for 4 days to have the damage repair which was done very poorly. Lack of care: leaving the car keys inside my car; when the car was in the parking lot and not inside the body shop; they denies until I told them that I can see my car through the cameras (Tesla app)Review from Misty T

If I could give zero stars, I would. We just got my husbands Audi back less than 2 weeks ago. He said when he drove it, there was a popping sound and the steering wheel was acting funny. We know that sometimes after youve had repairs, things might sound different but this is not the same at all. Fast forward and my husband is driving our daughter to school and the steering wheel starts turning crazy. He had to get his dad to follow him back to Woodies to make sure he didnt break down. They just called us and said its the right axel and we will have to pay $536 after just giving them $1650 to fix the front wheel bearings. Heres the weird part. When they were fixing the bearings, the guy said they were having a really hard time with the right wheel bearing. The right axel is what broke. Im 200% positive that they damaged ******** and then just gave us the car back without fixing it because they knew it would come from their own pockets. Im NEVER going here again and I want my money back!Review from Beverly H

Experience exceptional service at here shop with a welcoming environment and respectful staff. We were provided a thorough diagnosis and resolved two problems by replacing necessary parts quickly. Plus, they even offer a complimentary driving service so you can sit back and relax while we take care of your vehicle. All this at a fair and reasonable cost.Woodie's Auto Service Response

Spent $3400 to get my car running and driving. It broke down as soon as I left the shop. The mechanics response to me was to find someone else to fix it. After taking my money. Also disconnected my abs module to get the car to start and told me to pick it up
