Hi everyone. This place has a horrible finance department and management overall. Regular sales guys are great but the management make it impossible for those guys to properly deliver the service that *** usually deliver. Long story short, I purchased a brand new *** x7 at this dealership in 2022. There were some issues but overall it was fine. This year I decided to get a lease and we spent 3 full days trying different cars and weighting all the options. At some point we agreed on one car that we liked the most. So, we applied for the lease and the journey began. It took us 4-5 days to negotiate with financial services. At some point they even approved us. But then all the sudden they inquired an additional document. They said you must have a Green Card or an American passport to be eligible for a lease. So, we wasted 4 days plus another 4 days on these guys who couldnt tell us that the lease is only for citizens and GC holders. ***? We immediately got approved at ********, ****, ***** and 3 other brands and at the end got signed with one of them. But come on ***. Whats wrong with you? Is it common to waste employees time, customers time and then discriminate by making up some stupid rule that has nothing to do with how credits, loans and leases being offered in this beautiful country. S**** you guys. **************** is the worst dealership there is.Review from Oscar K

Took my car in for service, when it was returned, it was obvious that it was used for a joy ride, they bought fast food and left their trash in the vehicle when I picked it up. I raised h*** at the dealership and the managers did not even flinch or come talk to me, they denied it was used and defended their staff however could not defend the trash left. I decided not to go back there. My daughter insisted I give them another shot and I did. Got a special quote for tires, I insisted they put it in writing, when the work was done, the service adviser told me it was about $200 more than what was promised in writing. Again, when I raised ****, the service advisor asked to call me back. When I received the phone call back, the numbers had been revised to lower than what was inwriting. I asked how come, the arrogant answer was why am I not happy that they reduced the price to lower than promised. Untrustworthy dealership when it comes to service or billing, be careful, there are others that would love to treat the customer much better. No wonder their ******************** rating is close to 1. Be careful if you go there, they are not trustworthy.Review from Diamond C

****** a brand new **** A5 2024 in February and have nothing but problems with the car. 2 recalls and 3 visits to the shop already and its not even a year old yet. They fixed a recall but installed the seats incorrectly and damaged them too. They also made sure to leave plenty of grease stains that are now forever on the seats. my complaint about the dealer located at *****************************************. today october 22, 2024 my wife **** and i arrived at the dealer looking to buy a new truck. mr. ******* attended to **. we explained to him that we were interested in that truck and that if he could give us the information so that our bank would approve it, he told us that if the price of the truck is $34,995 the sale price. he asked us for personal information and began to fill out the application. he went to the financier and came back so that my wife could sign the application and send it. we have a construction company. we told him that if he applied it should be done under the name of the company. after a while he came back asking us for the insurance. but before that he asked us if we had a car to trade in. we said yes. He asked us if we should return it, we said yes, and my wife showed him the bank that financed it, ****** Finance. After waiting for 3 hours, he brought me a loan for the total amount before payment. It was ******. I have proof of that document. Then he arrived with an attitude that they did not approve the car, that I had to bring a check for $38,470 so that they could deposit the check and we could take the truck. The bad service, the bad practice and the bad professionalism of them. Mr. ******* called the manager. ******** Hispano, everything was explained to him and he told us that he would return with a solution. 15 minutes later he returned with the excuse that the bank did not approve it and that he wanted a deposit of $20,000 dollars so we could take the truck. That is my big complaint about this unprofessional teller, they treated us like garbage. and a wait of 4 1/2 hours.Review from Kurt E

Each time I drive into the service garage, no one comes over to check me in. I go into the service office and I'm not greeted as a customer. The service people are talking to each other and make you wait until they are done. The environment is lifeless and they don't care. A riff among the ******** the purchase of my CRV it was agreed that I get an oil change every ***** miles up to 2***** with *****. Then the same with Hendrick to ****** miles. I was told to bring the car in every *****. No problem just show my program card. I get excuses every time. It is time to bag ****** ******* *****. 5 oil changes at 5000 miles is nothing after agreeing to it and buying the car there. I now leave the car and pick it up when it is done. I have waited in the waiting room and had to go out to check after 1 hr. . I won't do that anymore. When I mentioned this at this service appointment the response was, sorry the happened. That was it. Me too, I'm sorry I showed up here and won't ever again. I will do something about it.Review from Janet M

The worst car buying experience ever. I had a deposit and insurance on a Mercedes CLA and they sold my car to someone else while my paperwork was in transit. If zero stars was an option, thats what I would select. They are very unethical.Review from Makeshia L

****Parts Department*****We ordered a part from **** Hendrick City *********, on Monday, October 7, 2024, for my husband's car because they are the only one in the **** that had this part available. He has searched everywhere for it and it's on back order. They sent us an invoice, we pay for it, $3300, and the service guy calls and tells my husband that for their accounting purposes, they need a copy of my driver's license and a copy of the debit card used, I inform ***** **** that I don't feel comfortable sending over this information, but he assures me that it is just for their records since the part is a large amount so I send over the information, only because we need this part ******* of today, 10/10/2024 and we hadn't received any tracking information on the part, so my husband calls them, and he was told that they, **** Hendrick City *********, cancelled the order because they didn't feel comfortable. We paid for the part, sent over the information they requested and after it was sent, cancelled the order and didn't even let my us know and to just give a "lame" reason of not feeling comfortable.Review from Amanda H

******** customer service. ******** used car buying experience. Purchased a used vehicle and never took possession of the vehicle. After almost one month, the General Manager suggested we not purchase the car because it was basically a lemon. I have a lot of understanding for situations out of someones control, however, you must communicate with your customer. I had paid a down payment. WE ACTUALLY SIGNED ANOTHER SET OF PAPERS with promises the car would be ready on a daily basis. I also still drove my old car around for the entire month, asked if I needed to continue payments, they said no. Well, Truist said otherwise. My payment was 17 days late at the time I went ahead and paid because I did not want negative on my credit report. Not one singular person, even management, was proficient in any sort of customer service situation. Impossible to get a hold of anyone without literally blowing up phones and emails. Im STILL waiting on part of my refund.. we dont write checks at the dealership, so it will be mailed to you. I have emailed twice now regarding the refund. The General Manager had the nerve to tell me I could receive a great deal on another vehicle purchase I would never use or recommend this dealership. Lemon car aside, this could have been so much less stressful with even semi-decent customer relations. You sold me an entirely defective car and had you done a proper inspection to begin with, this would have been avoided. Then, string me along for almost 4 weeks. Keep my deposit and then drag your feet to refund. Communication could not have been worse. Reiterate.COULD NOT HAVE BEEN WORSE.Review from Carrondra B

2021 chevrolet silverado, 78k miles. Collispsed lifters and cam shaft messed up right after warranty expired. Chose Jeff Gordon chevrolet in Wilmington NC because they offered loaner vehicles. There were no loaner vehicle for me so I paid around $1000 for rental fees for 3/4 weeks. The repair to my truck was $11,000 out of pocket. The service tech told me they couldn't work on my truck until I pay $4000 up front and if i didnt pay soon they would put my truck back together with extra expenses. Tried reaching out to the service manager multiple times by phone calls and an email. After calling for 4 days straight, he finally called back. He didn't care about my rental fees i accumlated, he said he didnt have a loaner for me with lack of care (wasnt even apologetic) and asked if I could pay the $4000 to start repairs. Sent emails out to the general manager and customer satisfication rep. General manager never contacted me back. The rep contacted me and just apologized for the lack of care i received. Also...with the $11000 repair on my truck, it still doesnt drive well. GMC customer service helped me with $3000 towards my bill leaving me with $8000 out of pocket expense. But told me that's all they could help with. Also told me to go back to jeff gordon chevrolet and ask them for help because jeff gordon is an individually owned business. But when I reached out they didn't help me with any expense and also when I picked up my truck, the tech told me "at lease you got a little bit of help with the bill" I told him "yeah by GMC" I didn't get any help or sympathy from jeff gordon chevrolet. Used to work there. Just wanted to let insurance and customers to be careful when you get a car back from them. Most of the work is good but there's a tech that does the harder hits faster by doing a ***** usafe repair against the work instructions from oem. He also adds a lot of work to estimates that doesnt get done. An unsafe repair can cause injury if you ever get into another wreck. The oem instructions are given to bring the vehicle back to safe standards.
