This happened on September 1st, 2023. I went to Meredith Brooke Salon and had an appointment for eyelash extensions. I have had eyelash extensions for over 2 years now and wanted to try a new salon. Upon my arrival everything seemed fine and I had explained what I wanted done. After she was done applying my eyelashes I immediately told her that they were not what I was expecting and that I was unhappy. She responded and reassured me that they looked good. I did pay her for her services and leave. Once I left I started to notice it seemed the eyelashes were completely improperly applied. I then contacted another salon to see if this was something they would be able to fix. Upon arrival at another salon I was told that this was the worst case of eyelash extensions they had ever seen and spend hours trying to remove the glue and fix the issue. After a 3 hour appointment I still was left with lots of glue all over my eyes and a complete mess. I notified Meredith Brooke Salon and was told that there was a no refund policy. I have tried to explain the situation that the issue is with the improper technique that was used and that the service was done incorrectly but I have not had any luck with the business owner.Business response

We have been in contact with you since you left the salon. As we spoke the same day and multiple days following your appointment you didnt notify us with any issues before going to another salon. When you left our salon you seemed happy and wanted to book another appointment. As stated in multiple emails to you as well as in your text, we wouldve been happy to serve you if you were dissatisfied with your service. You did not give us that opportunity, and refused to come back to allow us to fix or change any concerns with your lashes. We also contacted you the next morning to follow up, but you told us you were busy all day from 8-8 and didnt have time.
All of our policies are printed on our website regarding the refund policy and what to do if you are dissatisfied with your service. Being that you were a first time customer, we offered to make an exception and have you come back in and you refused. Due to the refusal to come back in and let us fix, change, or remove your lash extensions and make this right and also the fact that you disregarded our policies and went to another salon before giving us the opportunity to correct anything or even know there was an issue, we are standing by our policies and not offering you a refund at this time.
