On 5/31 Appliance Repair Center sent "***" to diagnose refrigerator noise. He said main control board needed to be replaced. He returned on June 3rd and repaired it. It did fix the issue. The charge was $819.61. The problem is he charged my credit card twice, once on 6/3 and again on 6/4. I have tried calling them SEVERAL times, left message, but no response. The last few calls only give me a recording. The phone #on invoice is ************ but the# I originally called to get the service is ************. It is the same ladies voice recorded at both #'s. In addition, I was told they'd send the warranty and paid invoice (#****) on the same email but there was no warranty. Their email address was "invoice2go" which I could not contact. Their website no longer pops up when I try to search it. I would like them to take responsibility and reverse the second charge and the BBB to report them with a negative review so others don't have to deal with these same issues.

We never received the ice marker and we never saw him again. I have tried to contact the company several times and could never get a response. When the credit card bill came it was at total of ******.

They charged us $1,621.76 saying that we would receive reimbursement for the compressor from ** in approximately 6 weeks. The compressor was $596.74. I want to be reimbursed for this amount. I have continually tried to contact these people but no one will return my calls. I contacted ** and they say they have no record of this repair or claim. Can you help me get reimbursed?

The Appliance Repair Center repaired our ** Refrigerator on 1/15/2024. Our ** refrigerator was still under warranty. The repairman was professional and knowledgeable. He repaired the compressor, and then took our old compressor with him when he left. He said that he needed the old compressor to send back to **, so that their company would be sent a new compressor as a replacement. He mentioned that he could then use the new compressor ** sent at their next job. He also said that his company (The Appliance Repair Center) would file our warranty rebate for the compressor for us, and we would be sent the warranty check in 4-6 weeks. He assured us quite convincingly that this was just the process that ** used with their company. The compressor itself was $596.74, but we spent over $1400 once the compressor repair was complete. I contacted ** last week to see where in the process our warranty rebate was. They said a claim was never submitted. We have waited over 2 months for the check to come from ** and have called The Appliance Repair Center to make sure that they filed our claim. The repairman keeps promising that someone from their office will call us back. No one has and we believe that this is part of a racket. We want a refund from them for the total of the claim check that ** would have sent us for the warrantied part.

      Business response

      03/21/2024

We filed the claim with *** They're responsible for the reimbursement for the compressor to the customer. We had all parts when we arrived, we completed the repair on the initial visit. We have no control over how ** handles their claims. It's a Warranty issue not out issue. It's no way they should be coming after us for reimbursement of parts under manufacturer warranty. We're not the manufacturer. They have a warranty issue, not Appliance Repair Center issue.

      Customer response

      03/21/2024

I am rejecting this response because:

      1. We contacted ** directly and there is NO record of a claim on file.

      2. You were contacted 3 times and cannot prove/document that a claim was submitted.

      3. On our fourth contact with you over 6 weeks post service your representative hung up on me and will now not answer my phone calls.

      Business response

      03/31/2024

** is responsible not The Appliance Repair Center LLC.  We can't control the timetable it takes the manufacturer to honor their warranty. We don't owe this customer anything.

The company "Appliance Repair Center" located at *******************************************************************. made a repair on my appliance Whirlpool Cabrio Dryer on 06/12/2023. At the opportunity they replaced the part named,": Whirlpool Cabrio Heating Element." They charged me in the amount of U$332.80 and they assured me that the part aboce mentioned has one year warranty and if within that 01-year warranty if the Dryer presented again the same problem due to the same part and repair made on 06/12/23, they would come and repair with no cost at all to me.Well, the Dryer is presenting the same problem again, like the first time when they came and fixes on 06/12/23: The Dryer is not heating and therefore does not dry the clothes. I contacted the company on 12/15/23 and again on 12/16/23 and the company scheduled the dryer's repair at my house for 12/19/23, and they assured me that the technician would call me on that day before arriving at my house. Well, nobody called on 12/19/23 and nobody showed up to repair the dryer, which is under warranty. During the entire day of 12/19/23 I tried to contact the company and nobody either answered my call or called me back. I need your intervention on this matter, because I am afraid the company is trying to avoid fixing the problem and fulfilling the warranty

Hired the company to fix our washer. They came out 12/23 for a consult and charged $420.01 for drain pump replacement; paid via Zelle to *********************** at a separate number. Despite his "diagnostics" and "repair" the washer is still broken and showing the original error number. We called the technician back and he said he would return that evening. He no-showed and has not returned our calls since. The website no longer shows up on ****** search (original link: *******************************************************************.com/?campaignid=**********&adgroupid=82963422892&creative=380257954297&matchtype=b&network=g&device=m&keyword=**********************%20repair%20near%20me&gclid=CjwKCAiAnZCdBhBmEiwA8nDQxfEIixu-L_azeWaSX0C3617CV3buMJ688241nGSpegbXtzZBVcEkaxoCKDsQAvD_BwE) and the contact information has since changed (new number: ********** - still no answer when called). Website indicates that they have service guarantee and work warranty.

Company was hired to fix a refrigerator issue where the item was not cooling. Not only was the issue not resolved, the freezer was damaged. Technician burned the freezer compartment and broke the drawer of the freezer. After calling several times to have them return to fix the issue, they would schedule but not show up
