I purchased 6/30/24 a 52 CC Wild Badger brush cutter from *********** It stopped working the first time I used it. I reach out to the company just for them to tell to spend more money to get it diagnosed and maybe they can send replacement parts to fix it. They should stop selling defective products. Apparently they have a 3 year warranty, but that seems non existent.Business response

The customer was directed to returnt the Wild ********************** tool to the retailer they purchased the tool from for a refund or exchange. Wild Badger offer the customer free repair parts to assist with the customers issue with the tool These repair or replacement parts would be free of charge to the customer. If the customer wanted a new replacement tool, under our warranty process, they would need to follow the following process. and we would provide them with a replacemnt tool.
Provided to the customer for a warranty replacement of the Wild Badger tool.
You will need to take the tool to a small engine repair location. Wild Badge doesnt have certified service centers in the **. If the tool needs repair parts and they are not normal wear items, we will ship these non-ware items to you or the repair shop for free. If the small engine repair shop can document that the engine is defective in any way, and cannot be repaired, then we would support the warranty and ship a replacement tool. We would need that diagnosis in writing from the repair shop location. If the small engine location needs (normal wear parts) to replace or tune the engine, this would normally be the customer's responsibility. See the website for replacements parts for your tool.Customer have been following this process for 5 Years.

Wild Badger Power claims to offer a 3 year warranty which is posted prominently on the header of its website. The company specifically states in its warranty wear items or parts not covered. The throttle handle is not listed as a wear item. The throttle handle is the part that failed on the trimmer I purchased from Wild Badger Power. I filed a warranty claim for the defective item to be replaced. The customer service person refused to identify themselves and said the warranty does not list all wear items or parts. The company promotes a 3 year warranty which is intentionally misleading and ambiguously written so customer warranty claims can be denied.Business response

The throttle for the tool is a wear item, and has been listed as such on our website, .as a customer replacement part since the start of this company in 2016. In good faith, and to close this issue with the customer Wild ********************** will provide a One time free throttle to the customer to close this complaint.

I am rejecting this response because:After filing the BBB claim, the company reconsidered its position and decided to address my concerns. *********** agreed to modify its warranty to make it more true and genuine. Also, it agreed to replace the defective part. If the part arrives on Friday, August 2nd as promised, I will notify the BBB that the claim has been resolved.

I purchased Gas 26-cc 2-cycle 17-in ****************** Brush Cutter with Attachment Capable and Edger Capable Item #******* Model #WBMT26P on October 24th, 2021 from Lowes with extended warranty.This year we experienced issues with the machine not working properly. After contacting Lowes they advised the machine still had manufacturers warranty. That I needed to do a warranty claim through the company directly. After completing the warranty claim form online May 26th 2023 @ 3:07 PM it states on the website that a shipping label will be sent to then have the product sent to the repair shops. no reply or follow up I sent another email directly to customer support **** ******** @ 10:52 AM. Advising I needed to use the warranty and listed the issues I was having with the machine. **** 12th 2023 @ 10:19 AM sent another email to customer support with proof of purchase asking about warranty service. I received a confirmation email that my request was submitted on **** 12th @2:54 PM. Someone emailed **** 14th @3:49 PM asking about the issues with the machine. I responded @6:26 PM with the issue. response next day stated an issue with the carburetor and I needed to adjust. This was not the issue I was having and advised in the email the next day I wanted to use the warranty that I do not have any mechanical knowledge and that I want to have it inspected by their repair shop and advised of my location to hopefully get a response to a shop I could take it. I was told on the 19th that there was no nearby shops and sent a link to the company that only does their repair services. I was also told maybe ***** has an authorized dealer in the are. The warranty is through the company and I had already been advised I had to use the manufacturer warranty. I responded to advising its a warranty issue and I wanted to use the warranty. They advised I take it to a shop to get a quote for repair. Sent another request **** 30 was sent a tool to adjust carburetor not the issue. No solutionsBusiness response

Wild Badger customer service.
After review of this customer issue, we will honor the warranty and ship this customer a replacement 26CC tool. ********************** head only. The customer will need to use the attachments that they have to attach to the warranty replacement tool. The replacement tool will ship by 8/30/23 and tracking will be provided at that time.
The customer can dispose of the non working tool and no return is required

Bought a Wild Badger 52cc weed whacker on April 12th 2023 from Amazon. Listing and owners manual both state a 3 year warranty for commercial and a 6 year warranty for personal use.I used the product to clear out vegetation on my property with no problems, but after 2 tanks of gas the product refused to start. I used the recommended 50:1 gas/oil ratio and even checked the spark plug to see if maybe it was an easy fix, but no luck. Tried contacting the company via email and phone but hadn't recieved any communication, so I talked to Amazon who just returned the item. Bought another from ******* on May 15th 2023, and the same issue happened. After 2 tanks of gas/oil mix, it no longer starts. Again tried to contact Wild Badger, but still no response.Business response

I am the administrator of customer service and warranty.
The customer would most likely need to make a minor carburetor adjustment to solve this issue on both of the tools they
have received. ********** during the running operations of the tool, the carburetor and the choke become out of sync and a adjustment is necessary.
Unfortunately small engines will need to be tuned and adjusted. Even new tools as they vibrate and bounce around during the shipping process to the customers.
I would help to solve this issue by sending another tool the customer, but if they can not make some minor adjustments this type of issue most likely will happen again.
Let me know what will be acceptable to close this customer issue.

I am rejecting this response because:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and would like Wild Badger to further explain the carburetor adjustment as I've tried a few things already. Also I'd like updated contact information sent to me so that I can actually reach someone regarding my warranty in the future.

The Wild ********************** gas tools will need to tuned and ware parts of the tool would require normal maintenance to allow the small engine to run and perform well. Replacement carburetors, and replacement parts can be purchase online at the following website. ***********************************
Based on the customers issue this is a normal tune up and maintenance issue for the tool and not a warranty relate case.
