We originally were very happy and pleased with the work done by this company, even after his employees damage the interior part of our home by dropping a roofing shovel through our bedroom ceiling. Sadly, the owner doesn't stand by their workmanship warranty that is listed in our contract. They were hired to replace our roof because of leaks from storms. Well, our roof still leaks in those very same spots. The owner was not returning phone calls so I chose to call from my office phone number in which he promptly answered. It took a few weeks but we got him to agree to come out to retrieve his tools that were left in my attic and to repair the leak once and for all. Well here we are again with another leak in the same location and the owner is ignoring us once again. I've given him three weeks to return phone messages and he still hasn't. So as a consumer I'm expressing my opinions of the company. At this time we've been advised to have the work completed by a new company and to submit a copy of the bill to Gowan for reimbursement one way or the other. This company works with your insurance company because they want to be paid! They will not stand behind their warranty because there is no profit in coming back out to fix their mistakes. Simply, they aren't looking for repeat business because there is no repeat business and replacing your roof Because homeowners usually only replace their roof once. They'll replace it and they'll get paid for it and then they won't return because they aren't going to get paid again... Sad but this is what we are finding out.....
