The date of the transaction was Apr 14th 2023. I purchased this software from Blair ****** of Easy Marketing Inc for $1997 via a ******** ad. In the ad he clearly stated that I could get a refund no questions asked as long as I indicated as such within the "return" period. I sent several emails requesting a refund but still is yet to receive one to this day.

Our client, ****** *******, did purchase the product on April 14, 2023 ($1997 setup fee and $497/month onward). On May 15, 2023, at 12:46 p.m. EST, he emailed us, asking for a refund. Our support team member, Mel, called him on May 15, 2023, at 1:22 p.m. EST, and there Mel found out that he was canceling the program and was asking for a refund because he cannot afford the $497 a month subscription. Instead of a refund, Mel offered him a free 3-month subscription and $97 a month afterwards, which he gladly accepted. He said to Mel in his remarks that he was once a retention specialist and that what Mel offered him was really great. That is the reason why he continually has access to the program for the months of June, July, and August without paying anything. Mel also sent him an email confirming what we had agreed on the phone on May 15, 2023, at 1:44 p.m. EST.

We are very responsive to all of his emails.

Date of Transaction was Sept. 18, 2023. Company advertised a booklet for $5.00. Then at checkout the company advertised additional info for $397.00 with a full refund within 30 days for refund policy. I added the addition purchase at $397.00. Once I received the product it was not like the information as advertised. I requested a refund within 30 days but received no refund of my money. This seems to be a bait and switch with unethical business practices.

9/17 10:47am: Bought and replied "Got it" on the same day to our welcome email.

10/2 9:34pm: He emailed us that he could not access the members area.

10/3 11:36am: Replied to his email and gave him the login information that he had already received, because he had not yet even accessed the training program yet.

10/16 8:33pm: Emailed us for a refund because he was "looking for an instructional course and all he got was fluff with no instructions". This is because he only accessed the book, and he did NOT access the instructional course, despite being given the access instructions multiple times.

10/17 12:12pm: We responded to his email, giving him the login information AGAIN, especially for the instructional course, because it was exactly what he was looking for, which was an instructional course.

10/20 8:30AM: Sent a follow-up email again to see if he received my email.

Several phone call attempts were made, yet the customer was unreachable by phone, and we never heard back from him by email once we had responded to his support messages.

11/09 10:59AM ET: customer was refunded both the $397 for the instructional course, and the $5 for the e-book. These refunds will appear on the customer's bank statement within 10 business days. If it takes longer than that, the customer is advised to contact their bank about it.

I signed up for this product in March 2020 and have been struggling for two years to get a refund. I have been in contact with the owner, Mr. Blair H*****, and several of his agents and have gotten nothing but the run-around. Blair promises that if you join his apprentice program, you will be refunded your money which I paid $7500 or he would give you a property. I requested a refund from Blair and he told me that he would be assigning one of his agents to help me secure a deal. What she did was go back through all of my old leads and then she contacted me a month later saying sorry I cannot help you. On top of the $7500 that I spent for this program I also spent hundreds of dollars in marketing and advertising trying to get this system to work, the only reason I signed up for the program was because it was backed by his guarantee and I was being strung along with empty promises and lies. I have attached a copy of the agreement that I signed which makes it clear that I am due a refund. I also attached a copy of the conversations that I had with Blair and his agents on many occasions. I attached one of his emails where he made these promises and has failed to deliver. As a single parent, I feel cheated. I spent $7500 in good faith and my kids and I have been robbed. I would like a full refund for this course. I do not want any property that he offers because I am sure that it would not be worth anything. Like I told him, the money I spent on this course, I could have bought a property and taught myself how to flip it. He should not make promises he can't keep, especially ones that cost people;e their hard earned money.

Here is the specific language from the agreement regarding the guarantee, which the customer signed when she joined the program. This entire paragraph was highlighted in yellow on the original document, and the customer signed her initials next to the paragraph:

GUARANTEE 9. If during the term Client does not sign at least one purchase contract or one lease-option with a seller, the Client may exercise their right to have a purchase contract or lease-option assigned to them from Consultant, if and only if, the Client has made a sincere effort to get a deal themselves. The only evidence sufficient to prove that the appropriate effort was made by Client, will be for the Client to provide to Consultant copies of no less than forty-five (45) completed lead sheets with handwritten notes, showing that the Client spoke to as many home-sellers by phone and followed the scripts during their calls. Additionally, it must be shown that the Client has attended at least six (6) of the included weekly group coaching calls. It is in the Consultant’s sole discretion to determine if this requirement has been met. If this guarantee is exercised, Consultant will have the exclusive option to either provide an executed purchase contract or lease-option contract to Client via an assignment of contract, or provide a monetary refund to the Client in the amount of the initial fee paid by Client. Once the guarantee is exercised and fulfilled, then the duties of Consultant will be considered fully rendered and no other compensation or services will be due to Client and this agreement will terminate.

By her own admission, the customer did in fact get a deal signed up relatively quickly during her time in our program. This alone negates any requirement of a refund or a deal to be given to the customer.

However, even if she hadn't gotten a deal signed up, the customer still has not fulfilled the obligation to show 45+ lead sheets where she talked to enough sellers to get a deal.

If she ever does produce such documentation, I would go above and beyond our contractual obligation and would be willing to ignore the fact that she did sign up a deal, and we will be happy to assign to her a profitable deal which will likely be worth more in immediate cash profit than the amount of the refund, plus additional long-term profit in the form of equity and cash-flow.

When I mentioned this to the customer on 2/16/21 she responded that same day by saying:

"...I appreciate you clarifying the guarantee process. I do understand what you are saying. I am also grateful that you and your company work with integrity, it was in good faith that I took a chance to try the apprenticeship program and the guarantee made it easier to do that ! I have always thought highly of the group and the program that you have and I appreciate the fact that you have always been available as the owner in a "down to earth" and communicated in a  respectable manner . So I am willing to see the process through..."

I have not heard from her since then until she submitted this message on the BBB site.

Please note that there is nowhere in the agreement that says we have to give her a refund. I have attached the original signed agreement in its entirety for review.

The customer can contact us directly to move forward if and when she is ready to show her 45+ lead sheets and exercise the deal guarantee.

      Customer response

      06/14/2022

I am rejecting this response because:

I am happy to hear that Blair is willing to give me a refund if I submit the 45 handwritten leads, I will do that gladly although I have already submitted a Google Sheets file with all of the leads and their responses (please see attached) and I met with Blair's assistant Ashley C****** to review my lead sheet on various occasions throughout this process. However, I do have handwritten leads but I will have to get those scanned and uploaded to the system. I will do this within the week. I would also like to say that most of the leads that I got were "dead end" I will send those in as well to show that I made a good faith effort to follow up on those leads. Blair's assistant Brandi went back through and tried to work the leads and she was also unable to come up with a viable lead.  The "deal" that Blair references in his response did not happen, I had a lot of issues trying to close that deal because someone wanted to buy with a VA loan and I wasn't the owner and it did not result in me getting a property , as I told Blair there were seasoning issues and no one would work with me as far as listing the house  and the owners lost patience and decided to go with a local realtor who sold the house in two weeks. I spoke extensive with Blair via FB messenger and he responded to me by saying "Just based on the numbers it sounds like it wasn't even a deal to begin with. As a cash deal, the criteria is 70% of ARV minus repairs. As a terms deal it's price at or below market value with <3% down payment, and a monthly spread. So based on this criteria, the "deal" you got under contract wasn't even a deal at all. So for the purposes of the deal guarantee, you have NOT gotten a deal."
