On Feb 24, 2022 I paid Lee Air Conditioning $8,634.00 for the purchase and installation of a heat pump and air handling system for my home. The work proposal indicated that my purchase qualified for a $400.00 rebate, which the company said they would process for me. The installation was completed without problem. I was told the rebate would take approximately 8 weeks to receive. On April 28, I inquired about the status of my rebate and was told in an email message that **** *******, the company controller, would follow-up on the rebate for me. On June 22 I followed up with Mr. ******* with a message, then again on June 30 when he did not respond to my June 22 message. After Mr. ******* still had not responded, on July 7 I sent a message explaining the situation to *** ***, the company Vice President, asking for an update to the status of my rebate. After no response, on July 13 I called Lee and was told that Mr. ******* would call me back. Mr. ******* sent me a message that day saying that he was having trouble connecting with **** ****** about my rebate and that he would issue the rebate amount directly to my early the week of July 18. Having heard nothing, I sent a follow-up message to Mr. ******* on July 30, another on August 15, and a final message on August 17, in which I indicated that I expected to receive $400.00 from Lee Air by August 24. I have yet to have a reply to my messages or to receive payment of the rebate.Business response
