This insurance company is attempting to retroactively collect $2.1K from me for my business' general liability policy coverage from 2022-2023 based on a false report they generated from an audit they did where they falsely state my business grew 30% and that my payroll was $10,000 more than the $20,000 estimate noted on my renewal application. When I disputed the bill and sent them proof (biz bank **************** for the audit period) that I had no employees/payroll (I am a single member LLC with no employees because I do all the work myself and do not take a formal salary, and the business is treated as a Schedule C so any end of year profit is my take home pay), my sales not only drastically declined that term due to financial hardship (ie covid/economic slump and not getting paid for certain projects), but that the $10,000 "salaried employee/welder" they logged in their report, was incorrectly categorized as such, was actually a 1099 independent contractor for transportation/delivery services, they sent the account to collections. Despite my financial hardship I paid them $4.3K in full upon renewing my ins. policy, so this feels like extortion.Initial Complaint

Bought a refrigerator from ****** 4/2021 had it serviced by ***** home technician on 9/2/2022. The tech damaged my floors as he pulled the refrigerator out. I kicked him out of my house. My refrigerator was never repaired as of this date!I called ****** and ***** that day and made a complaint. I was then contacted by ********************* from ******** a company that handles claims for *****. She did an investigation into my claims. She sent me an email dated 12/30/2022 (attached)stating it was the techs fault she would notify the insurance company Atlantic Casaulty. A gentleman came to my house earlier this year to survey the damage as well. I was in contact with ******************* from Atlantic Casualty in regards to what was the process and how long this would take to resolve. She discussed settlement of $1409.00 and stated she was waiting for some information. Shortly after that I received a denial of my claim (attached)which was odd when ***** admitted fault 4 months ago. I dont understand how the insurance company is now saying they are not at fault, that horse left the barn. I notified AWilson that an employee named *********** sent a denial. Never spoke to or had any contact with a ***********. *************** stated she is investigating my claim. But this was already done last year by ***** and they sent an email admitting fault. Atlantic Casualty is giving me the run around! I want them to pay the claim, cut the check and stop with all the unnecessary back and forth.
