Do not do business with company, they will cancel you as soon as you send the premium.I never made a claim, they cancel within 30 days and kept a great part of the ********** not a honest company.Business response

This policy was written effective 8/10/2024 by one of our independent agents. The risk is a 2000 double wide mobile home and the application was for our *** (high value mobile/modular home) program. Company guidelines for the *** program require that the home be between 0-10 years when the policy is written, so at 23 years this home did not qualify for the *** program. We notified the agent and issued a notice of cancellation on 8/23/2024 to be effective 9/10/2023 per NCGS 58-41-15.
The insured made a 40% downpayment on their premium that was posted on 8/21/2024. Since we insured the home from 8/10/2024 to 9/10/2024 we kept 31 days premium (approx. 8.5% of the full-term premium). We refunded the difference to the insured on 9/24/2024. If the insured would like to receive the full amount back, they are welcome to send us a signed request to cancel the policy back to 8/10/2024 and we will refund them the remainder of the premium that was paid.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
When the policy was originally written, and accepted at the time of signing, an Agent of NC Grange was sent to my address to take photos a few days later, not mentioning any problems with the policy, why is there that it takes so many days after signing that a ten (10) year limit is a problem, this should have been raised at the very initial stage.
It seems that NC Grange does not deal fairly with prospecting costumers leading them to believe we have a real policy when they later decide we do not.
