Had surgery at the Surgical Center on July 27. At that time I had to pay over $3000 before the surgery as a copayment. I explained to them that my insurance coverage would be covering 1/3 of the cost, but they insisted I pay the full $3000 which I agreed to do. I set up a payment plan of $1093 per month for 3 months. All 3 payments were we deducted on the 28th of the 3 following months. I was then issued a refund from the Surgical Center for overpayment which I told them would happen. On 10/30, the Surgical Center withdrew another $1093 from my account causing several of my accounts to overdraft. I spoke with someone that promised they would work on the 2nd refund and after 2 weeks, nothing has happened. This has caused me to overdraft and have to pull funds from other accounts to cover my mortgage and other monthly costs. This is extremely disappointing as I agreed and fulfilled my agreement, but they have failed to uphold their end. I haven’t received any communication from them other than me reaching out and requesting my refund.Business response

According to our patient billing system Mr. ********* received his refund to his credit card on 11/14/2023. Insurance paid on 10/13/23 for his July surgery and his credit card was refunded overpayment on 10/23/23. In error, his credit card was charged on 10/31/23 and the amount refunded on back to credit card on 11/14/2023.
