The shower sliding door wasn't fixed;The shower caulk was substandard;Parts supplied seem to be used with smudges and an old faded appearance.The microwave was not installed;The chandelier was never removed and replaced with an overhead light;The fireplace insert wasn't bought and installed;The outlets and receptacles weren't replaced;The full list of items to be completed is documented in text messages but most communication was over the telephone. Worker promised the space "was made ready for rental" but this was false. ***** promised to supply itemized receipts for the work which he never did. Without this, I have no idea what I paid for. I have asked repeatedly for this but I will need to take legal action if he doesn't comply. He supplied a vague invoice without detail so I'm unable to file taxes.Additionally, contractor was absent for days without communication causing delays and other providers hardship. For instance, the locksmith had to return twice because ***** wasn't there as promised when he arrived.Customer response

The business owner agreed to my terms but didn't follow through and then he stopped communicating again. It's frustrating that I have to chase him.
Please leave the claim open. If he pays my costs as he agreed, I'll withdraw it later.

Yes, I received the email. Some items I didnt charge for doing, because I dont install microwave that require electrical work, but I paid him what another handy man charged him. But overall I painted and did all I was suppose to do.
