I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding PayTomorrows deceptive loan and lease terms, which have negatively impacted my credit and overall financial situation. I initially financed a purchase through PayTomorrow, and at the time of applying, I was led to believe that my payments were structured as a simple loan repayment. However, I later discovered that I had not only a loan but also a lease associated with my account, resulting in unexpected payments.The terms of the agreement were not clearly communicated during the application process, and at no point was I made aware that the $75 weekly payments were required, instead of the $75 monthly payments I was originally told. This misunderstanding resulted in several late payments being reported to the credit bureaus, causing damage to my credit score. Despite my best efforts to resolve the issue, including paying off the balance in full early and sending multiple goodwill letters, PayTomorrow has been unresponsive and unwilling to assist with removing the negative items from my credit report.Furthermore, I have come across numerous complaints from other customers who experienced similar confusion about PayTomorrows loan and lease terms. It appears that PayTomorrow consistently fails to disclose critical information about its financing structures, which is misleading and predatory. The companys lack of communication when payments are incorrect, and failure to respond to customer concerns, is unacceptable.I am requesting that PayTomorrow remove the late payments from my credit report, as they were a result of unclear and misleading loan terms. I am rejecting this response because:
I appreciate your recent response to my complaint, but I remain deeply concerned that my primary issue has not been addressed. As Ive mentioned previously, the lack of clear communication regarding the payment structure led to missed payments and negative marks on my credit report. These marks were the result of unclear and misleading terms, and I am asking for them to be removed.
I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue, including paying off the balance early and sending several goodwill letters, all of which have been ignored. Its disappointing that a company which claims to value transparency and customer satisfaction has been unresponsive to a reasonable request to correct the harm caused by unclear terms.
If this matter is not resolved promptly and the late payments are not removed from my credit report, I will have no choice but to escalate this issue further, including exploring legal options to protect my rights and restore my credit.
Please let me know within 10 business days how you intend to rectify this situation. I would prefer to settle this matter amicably, but I will pursue all available avenues if necessary.

Purchased tires through Tire agent and financed through paytomorrow. Order for tires was canceled by tire agent. Informed pay tomorrow through numerous emails and phone calls. Paytomorrow will not address issue and is taking money from bank account.Business response

There was both a call where the customer hung up and an email sent on 10/18/2024. Email stated: Cancellations are processed through the merchant. Customers will need to make the merchant aware that they are interested in cancelling the order. Merchants who will accept the cancellation will hit the refund button in the application. This will automatically flip the status to Return to Seller. Customer payments will be refunded.Application fees are non-refundable.
Tire agent has put through a partial return. This means, they are indicating that you still have some of the financed items. You will need to reach out to the merchant to resolve this issue. Once they indicate to us that all items have been returned you financing will be closed and any monies paid will be refunded.Customer response

I am writing to dispute an account listed on my credit report that was fraudulently opened in my name. I am a victim of identity theft and have reported this incident to *****************. I paid off a loan and over paid by $119, no one at this company will respond to emails and if they do its a blank email. Da apparently the only way to get your over payment back is if you call and argue with them. She admitted it was over paid and said shed try to put in a request.Business response

I fell behind all my payments with this company. I went to their portal and in December and created a payment plan to settle this debt, which was $400. After paying the $400 it was reported on my credit as this account being closed. They then reopened the account in February as pictured and credit report and then begin to bill me again. When I noticed this, I called the company and told them what was going on and they said that that was not a payment plan to settle the debt that it was a payment plan to bring my account current. If that is the case, I believe that that was deceptive practices. Based off of my credit report, it seems that I settled the debt. As the online portal displayed unfortunately I do not have a screenshot of that as I trusted the company. This company has done a few weird things like show that my account was closed and paid and then reopen the account and bill with previous information that they had.Business response

I was lied to and mislead with fraudulent information to use this company to finance 4 tires. I was told that I would be bill for 9 months of ****** to pay for the tires. Unknown to me that the 9 months was only to lease the tires and then the would be another 9 months of payment to then be in the process of actually buying them. Why would I spend 9 months leasing first to then turn around and spend another 9 months buying. They are very misleading and tell you one thing but send confusing contracts that say another. Companies like this should not be allowed to prey on poor people to get rich. The are charging double the cost for the merchandise.
