Thank you for responding so quickly.

The business owner and I corresponded via text over the course of two days. I found out he had been in jail from Friday through Sunday morning and this is why he failed to respond and not show-up to our scheduled installs. He messaged me late Sunday afternoon berating me for not considering that if someone isn't responding then there must be something wrong... Jail never crossed my mind. I assume jail wouldn't cross many people's mind as to why a professional misses appointments. He told me I "had better be" at his house at 6 pm Sunday night to pick up my windows. I had to drop everything I was doing in order to be there as close to 6 as I could.

When I arrived he was bringing my windows out of his basement. He's zoned residential, not commercial. The business is operated out of his house which he rents. I briefly checked my windows for damage and didn't see any. It was dark, he had been in jail or so he says, he was angry, what was I going to do if a window was damaged or broken? My only option was to leave and deal with the windows once I got home.

Once I got home and began checking the windows, here's what I saw: 1. 0/8 windows were tinted correctly. 2. My windshield had limo tint on one side and reflective tint on the other. I can't see out of my windshield either way...lol The windshield was supposed to have 35% tint only, and no reflective tint. 2/4 front windows were tinted on the outside of the window. Tint goes on the inside. The reflective tint wasn't on them either; it was supposed to be. Tint was chipping, bubbled, pulling away on those same two front windows. 3. My back door window was tinted correctly (limo tint) but the reflective tint should've been installed first. Instead, it faced inward meaning I couldn't see out of it... 4. My rear, side windows were tinted on one side and reflective tinted on the other. So I paid 300.00 for 2/8 windows to be tinted correctly.

He told me to return his tint, meaning pull it all off and take it back to him and he would give me a refund. He said he wasn't going to leave me with a free tint job. Plus, I don't feel safe going over to his house at this point. I've considered small claims court and I informed him of this. I have to pay someone to fix what he was supposed to have already done.
