A bit disappointed, the application process is fairly simple and we got a quick response. The interest rates however are incredibly higher that we expected almost 15%. I was quoted by 2 other companies for way less. When I called to ask for an explanation they just stated thats the rate for your credit score (almost 700). Would have liked to use them as they cam highly recommended by our pool builder but the rate is just crazy as compared to the other approvals I received.

We were able to secure a final approval for the customer with a lower interest rate. We are happy to report that he was satisfied with the outcome. We appreciate the customers feedback and we are grateful that we were able to earn his business. Every customer is important to us and going the extra mile is something we do happily.

In the beginning I was getting discouraged and felt we were getting the run around by a few people in the ************************* UNTIL I called one day about to give up when *************************** answered the phone and literally saved the day, did EVERYTHING she said she would do, in the time frame she said she would do it, emailed as promised and called when she didn't have too. That my friends is going over and above. I will pay it forward in ******* name. *****, Thank you for getting the documents together and sent to us so early the next morning for us to sign. Because I feel (just my opinion) a good week was wasted until I talk to ******* and then ***** got involved in 24 hours we got the go ahead to start construction of our new pool. Great experience so far with our pool loan. It is still under construction but **** has been quick to make payments to the contractor and responds to our emails very quickly. We did have one hiccup during the loan process as **** made a mistake on the loan paperwork they sent to the lender but as soon as we pointed it out **** quickly corrected it without any hassle. The lender they paired us with has been great and making payments on the loan couldn't be easier. **** was upfront with every part of the loan and process and made sure we fully understood what we were signing up for.

We were robbed of time, efforts and a pool. We did everything they asked. They looked for every excuse to deny the loan since the prime rate went up. At the end they said we didnt reply yes to one email we never received. The lady told my wife please sign the email and we doubt you will make it work since its the long weekend and everyone is getting ready to head out. It was Thursday not Friday by the way. They said we have to take the new interest rate of 11% vs the old one for 7.5% I have never been so disrespected. Everyone has said s**** you **** it up take the new Rate or leave. I miss good old customer service days. Please beware.

Incredibly please with our service from Lyon Financial. Considering the size of the loan (150k), it was a breeze, and a great rate for an unsecured loan! Progress payments to our contractor were made on time, and customer service checked in on ** regularly to make sure we were satisfied with our build and our service with ****. Just an all around stellar company. I will always recommend them!

C P ************ was presented to very highly by someone so nice! Applied for financing about a month ago. My 3 credit score was over the company requirement guidelines and still wasn't able to get financing because, they only use one credit bureau, which i guess that's how the determine someone credit wardiness with inquiries on my report. I would have inquiries, because I purchased a new built home two yrs ago. Only wish theres another company I could look into. That's was ridiculous!!

They advertise rates as low as ****%. I applied and got a response with my options. I could do a loan in-house at ****% or through an affiliate at 12%. WHAT?! So much for the industry-low rates. These were the highest rated I had gotten out of anywhere I talked to. I said no thanks, and I left a review on here and ******* The negative reviews caught their attention! A manager immediately called and emailed me the next morning. She apologized that I was unsatisfied and took the time to review my file. She said they only run credit through one bureau, but that she ran my credit through another bureau and my score was SO much better that I magically now qualified for ****%. At the time, I was in need of a quick approval, which they promised, so I decided to take the bait and move forward. They said theyd proceed but asked that I take down my negative reviews since we were able to work it out. I did at the time, thinking Id rather save the money with the cheaper rate with them. But I got a 6.5% rate elsewhere and despite them being 0.5% higher, at least they are obviously much more ethical than Lyon. So I closed my file with Lyon. If you still decide to move forward, read the fine print! Since its a continuous loan that pays out in portions to the contractor, if your credit/income changes after the documents are signed but before the project is complete, they can then deny your loan. Even if some of it has already been paid out. So you are stuck with a half of a loan, half of a project, and will need to start over again to rectify the issue or find a new loan to cover the now-started work! That was another concern of mine. But overall, I dont trust any company that advertises one thing, offers you something different, then, if you warn others, now they offer you something better in exchange for no negative reviews. That just says red flag!! So here I am re-posting my negative review that I left a month ago that they asked me to remove since I went elsewhere
